Great design and my cat enjoys it
Terrific design, I have tried two other fountains previously. One my cat liked, one he didn't. Neither worked well and were hard to clean (also they were made out of plastic). This fountain is great!

Hydration and great fun!
We know that cats are vulnerable to kidney and urinary tract problems and that keeping well hyrdrated is important to their health. Since buying this pet fountain, I am no longer as concerned because both of my cats LOVE drinking from it! I am sure that they are getting enough water now. (The kitten also enjoys playing in it!)

Almost right. Black filter specks.
I really liked the idea of ceramic, which cools the water, but unfortunately, the pets did not like it. In addition, after rinsing the carbon filter as the directions say to do, and putting the water down for the pets, I noticed black specks in the water. I assumed I had not rinsed the filter well enough, so I rinsed it again. The black specks got worse after that. I decided, like another reviewer said, to leave the filter out, and thoroughly clean it on a regular basis instead. I did leave the sponge filter to prevent debris from getting into the motor. I removed all other water sources to get the pets to transition, and they did, sort of. I caught the dog drinking out of the toilet. The cat was drinking out of the waterer some, but did not seem to be drinking as much. After about 2 days, I put the standard metal water bowl back down. Both pets ignored the ceramic waterer from that point on. Unfortunately the search will have to continue. The ceramic waterer functionally worked, but the filter is an issue. Otherwise, my pets just did not like it.

Worked fine for three months, and then the pump went kaput. Stopped working entirely.

Incredibly happy with this fountain
I am so thrilled with this little fountain. I bought it for my cat and have never seen him drink so much water — he visits it all the time, where I struggled to get him to drink enough out of bowls. He genuinely seems happier after just having it for a few days. It was easy to put together and is totally silent. A perfect product, just really happy that he has it now and I wish I'd bought it for him years ago.

Awesome fountain
My cat loves his fountain. He no longer jumps up on counters to get water from the sink. :) He will even just sit and stare at it so it is even serving as entertainment. :) It is easy to use, easy to clean, and is even aesthetic.

Excellent fountain
I had a different model Drinkwell fountain for many years for our cats. Highly reliable but hard to clean. This one is great. Easy to take apart and holds a lot of water. Cats took to it right away. Don’t waste money on a cheaper fountain. This will outlast most of what’s out there.

Some scouring
I've had the creekside pet fountain for months and it is quiet and the cats like it. The only problem is a ring has become visible around the bowl at the water line. It as if some of the ceramic layer has been eaten away. Don't know what caused the problem. I clean it on a regular basis.

Water Fountain
My cats LOVE their new Fountain! They were not drinking enough water until I got this and now they are drinking much more because they like the "movement" of the water! I recommend this for every cat owner. It is ceramic, therefor sturdy as well as attractive.

This fountain is silent, ceramic, and pretty. My dog loves it. The charcoal filter, however, made the water taste weird no matter how long I soaked it and ran water through it. I ended up removing the filter and just filling the fountain with filtered water.

My finicky cat loves this fountain. I’ve seen her use both options - drinking from the bubbling top or the calm base. The ovoid shape gives more space for her head without compressing her whiskers - good design change from the previous model (which I also have).

Good quality - have to refill daily
We had a plastic pet safe circulator bowl for our cat before, but wanted to get ceramic. Quality is good but we have to refill essentially every day due to evaporation. We live in Colorado where it’s dry, but wish the capacity was more or the pump was slower or something. We’ll probably put it on a timer plug so we don’t lose so much water.
