  • A: They are soft fabric and I can’t see them working in such a capacity. I would think the metal of a filing folder would rough up and most likely rip the fabric rather quickly. I use mine for my IKEA Kallax system for clothes, collectibles and general storage items privacy.

    Overall great. One thing to know though...

    If you’re planning to load this bin with heavy stuff, I’d recommend a more sturdy bin. I haven’t had any issues so far but the handle bends quite a bit when pulling out the bin. I keep things like bar soap and toiletries in one bin and I’m definitely going to switch it out. Otherwise, these are great bins for light duty storage.
