Newair® 160-Can Outdoor Built-In/Freestanding Beverage Fridge - 24"

purchased May 2020. last week, it stopped cooling and started smelling hot inside. before last week our only complaints were that the casters couldn't be attached (a plate was blocking the holes) and the blue light made reading the labels difficult. now, we're VERY unhappy that an $800+ appliance didn't even last 4 years!

Used it for just under 2 years, seemed great. Now it won't cool Purchased in March 2022 and installed in June. Can't believe it didn't last longer, very disappointed!

This unit worked for ~1.5 years and now will not get below 40 degrees. Multiple calls to customer support and no answer or response.

I'm loving the fridge and all the space for drinks and even food I can quickly grab to throw on the grill!

Just set it up and am really enjoying it. The unit is built solid and the stainless steel looks amazing. The handle was a bit tricky to install but wasn't terrible. Really love all of the added features. It has a lock, sensor to turn the light and fan on/off, easy to use temp setting, door auto closes (and if it doesn't there's an alarm when it is open too long), and since it's made to be a built-in unit so it can go up against walls. Can't wait to use this for large parties!

I have this cooler and I love it. It is not real large but holds a lot of drinks. I am very happy with my purchase. The nice thing is that we can use it inside and then roll it outside by the pool when we have parties.

I installed this fridge outside as part of a covered patio, kitchen area. It is perfect size for my use case, and perfect height if you are looking for one to side into a cabinet space with countertop. Only issue I've had was the unit seemed to be running hot, and wouldn't quite get down to the desired set temps. The reason I would buy again was due to how easy the customer support process has been. With proof of receipt, a replacement unit is being sent to me, due to a needed part being out of stock. So instead of making me wait, they recommended a new unit. Support can make or break a company in my opinion, and so far Newair has shown that they are superior in that category, so they will continue to get my business and recommendations.

I was given this as a gift for Christmas. It failed in July. I had to do a warranty claim on the unit, and they had me do extensive troubleshooting. They offered to replace the unit for free, but were going to charge me shipping and handling unless I wrote a review. So here's the review.

This beverage fridge is a must have for any backyard oasis. Customer Service is amazing. They definitely stand behind their products

What a great service Newair have. I just wrote them that thy Newair 15" was not cooling enough, sent them proof of purchase and immediately they sent me a replacement. That's really o good customer service... No questions asked. It's not like others, that start delaying all the process because they don't want to take the responsibility on their product warranty. 100 points. I do recommend them.

The fridge is awesome. I love it.. drinks are Super Cold. As low as 32 deg. Not to mention how specious is the inside... Imagine to have around 8 24pks of cold drinks in one place....

Customer service reached out to me and will be replacing the unit which is what should be done since it has a bad sensor and is not keeping the drinks cold. I do love the refrigerator when the drinks are super cold and the design is great. Thank you New Air for the great customer service !!!

I have had one replacement due to bad sensor - which then doesn't keep drinks cold. Now after 6 months the new one is doing the same thing. Out of warranty so nothing can be done to resolve the problem. Spent a lot of money on outdoor refrigerator and now need to basically throw away and buy a new one which won't be this brand again. Works great in the beginning but doesn't last long. Don't waste your money on this one

I run a Youtube channel, Smoky Ribs BBQ and have a full outdoor kitchen for my Down South Series. This fridge by Newair fits right into what I do allowing me to have my condiments, meat and beverages right there next to me when I need them while shooting an episode or entertaining a crowd at my wet bar. Quality is second to none, holds it's temps like a champ and was very easy to incorporate into my outdoor kitchen. If you don't have a outdoor kitchen with cabinets that can be built or customized like I do, you can always enjoy the fridge freely as well thanks to it's gorgeous looks and easy to roll around casters that come built right on the fridge. This Newair Fridge is Smoky Ribs Approved!

I love that the fridge is quiet running. This was a big concern because my bedroom is on the other side of the wall it's on. I have heard that most outdoor fridges are very noisy. I like the lock for the door, the blue interior light and the ample storage space. It cools down quickly when first started. I love that it can be used for a wine fridge also.

bought the cooler for our outdoor grill area. Love the design, locking door, blue interior light and most of all the generous storage area. quiet running also!

This refrigerator is very well made and goes as low as 34 degrees as advertised. We are very pleased. Further when I somehow mislaid the two screws they included to put the handle on the door, customer service immediately shipped me out two more.
