A: Hi Andrea. The dishes do stack on top of each other, but not like your typical dinnerware. They don't really stack in, but more on top of one another.

Love this set of dinnerware!
These dishes are even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The plates, the bowls, the cups were all the perfect size for us. We did receive one small plate that had a minor chunk chipped out of it, but we are working on that with the company getting it replaced. The dishes are durable and when arrived, packaged very well and protected. We are very satisfied with the set of stoneware dishes.

Light weight and packaged poorly
Dishes are very thin and light weight. I guess I should have expected that for the price. Arrived in a box which was not very substantial. I was afraid it would fall apart while carrying it into the house, so I emptied it outside. The very last inner box of plates had a cracked plate. They won't simply replace one plate. I have to repackage these into this crappy box and figure out how to get it to the post office or the store.

Cute but scratches in seconds
This set is so cute and looks great with the black utensils I purchased....BUT they scratch the second your cutlery touches them. Such a disappointment! 5 stars for the look but a total flop for not passing the scratch test. If that kind of thing doesn't bother you, I would highly recommend. I will probably donate these and get a better quality because seeing the scratches drives me crazy!

There are two bowls in this set which I at first thought was odd but it is actually perfect for the kids.
