Terrible Monitor
Worst baby monitor ever. I have had to replace the screen twice now because it just randomly stopped working and won’t turn on anymore. The same issue has happened twice and the support from Vava is terrible! Because it’s been just over a year they won’t send a replacement and they’re saying I can purchase the unit again for a $15 off credit from them. Do not waste your money on this monitor.

Love that it does not need wifi to work. Very easy to set up. Just wish it reached a little farther with the monitor.

Screen is faulty and VAVA has terrible customer service.
The screen on my monitor is slowly turning black. I reached out to VAVA customer service to get a replacement because I am within my warranty window. Not only did they give me the runaround, wanting a bunch of photos and videos of the issue, they would not send me a replacement until I mailed in the defective unit. How am I supposed to see my sleeping kids without the monitor? This is a terrible company. I used to recommend this monitor to everyone because it doesn’t have wifi but the customer service is so awful that I will no longer do so. Do not buy anything from VAVA.

Stopped working after only 6 months
We loved this monitor until the parent unit stopped turning on after only 5 months of use. We contacted Vava since it was under warranty, we were told they would send a replacement but it would be delayed because they had paused shipment of new units due to tariffs (May 2025). We finally received our replacement unit mid July but after less than one week of use the parent unit has stopped working again. I have contacted Vava to hopefully find a solution but am very disappointed since we rely on this for the safety of our infant and toddler.

Charging Issue & Poor Customer Service
Experiencing an issue with the charging port like many other reviews have also stated. Customer service is terrible and will not provide a resolution for their faulty equipment even though it’s clearly a common issue with the product.

Stopped Charging
Loved the monitor for the first 11 months. Then experienced the faulty charging port issue most others experienced. Unfortunately customer service was less than satisfactory. A $300 monitor should last longer than a year.

Battery won't charge
Experiencing the exact same issue as most of the other reviews! After 1.5 years of loving the monitor, it stopped charging. Tried different cables and it doesn't matter. It's like they did this on purpose to get you to buy another. Not falling for it! What a waste

Don't Buy!
Loved the split screen monitor…when it worked. After 18 months, the monitor started not charging correctly and would randomly shut off in the middle of the night.. with no warning. Tried different cords, the defect is the monitor. Come to find out there are SEVERAL reviews saying the same thing. Because I’ve had it for >12 months, customer support wouldn’t do anything other than offer me a $15 off coupon when I purchased a NEW monitor for $120. No thanks! This product is expensive garbage.

Save your money
I THOUGHT I loved this camera but after almost a year of it being used the monitor randomly stopped working. It wouldn’t hold a charge, I reached out to customer service and they refused to replace it or even do anything about the inconvenience. This product is way too expensive for the short term lifespan it holds.

Dual Camera/Customer Service
Our dual camera screen broke a few months after having it. I contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful! I was a little skeptical since there were some negative reviews but customer service was fast, and very understanding. They sent me a brand new dual monitor with cameras. This was also Christmas week and they were still responding to me. Greatly appreciate it.

DO NOT BUY
Stopped working after 1.5 years. Shuts off randomly / won’t hold a charge. Customer service unwilling to help. Offered me 15% off a future purchased. Purchased a second camera to add earlier in the year and never opened box. Wanted to return it and they would accept return even with a receipt. 0/5 stars.

The best
The amount of bad stars this monitor has is INSANE to me. I’ve went thru 4 different monitors between my two kids. And I’ve had this monitor for almost 3 years and still love it! Yes the charger went, but I just ordered one off amazon and it’s been perfect. I love being able to see the split screen and not have to rotate between the two. I love the size of the screen and the weight of it too.

Wouldnt recommend
Disappointed. Bought dual monitor option knowing we would have a second. Broke after having it for 1.5 yrs. Never got to use second camera.

Bad charger
The charger only lasted 1 1/2 years. It will not hold a charge anymore. The picture is good, but wouldn’t recommend - didn’t even last 2 years.
