No smells!
Love this diaper pail! I got it before my son was born (he’s now 2) and I’ve never had dirty diaper smells in his room. This thing holds a lot of diapers when they’re infants but as the diaper size goes up the less it holds. I think up until my son turned 1 I wasn’t having to empty it out for 4-5 days which was great for me. Now that he’s in 5-6t pull ups (tall boy with thick thighs 😅) I think I change it out every couple of days, but he’s also not going through as many pull ups as he was diapers. I got this when the price was a little less than what it is now but overall it was a great investment! I get the refill rings on Amazon and they last a few months too. We have carpet in his room and I’ve only had issues with the pail tipping forward when it’s empty, but that doesn’t bother me considering how well it’s locked away the diaper smell. I only smell anything when I go to change the bag but once I tie it up it’s back to no smells which is amazing

Amazing idtem
First thing I noticed is the original bags they use work with the pail you’ll need to buy the uv one to actually get no smell.. I dislike a lot how much diapers it holds never had other ones, my daughters almost 1 and and we bought it when they actually sold it in stores around us The lid won’t break if you just don’t over fill your diapers.. the foot pedal works fine we’ve only used it on carpet. No clue who’s letting these people have kids but this item works great I’d definitely recommend you buy this item.

Our favorite diaper pail
We received this pail 3 years ago at our baby shower and loved it. No smell ever, felt like the UV light really worked and it was so easy to use. Finally after 2. 5 years of non stop use 10-15 times a day (we have two under 3), I noticed that the light wouldn’t turn on and it was a bit stinky. Decided to get a new one with the Mother’s Day sale and I’m so happy! Great product and super fast shipping

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have been contacting them for over a month just trying to get a replacement cord for this diaper pail, since it broke after 6 months of use. A very simple request. Now (after 15 messages of back and forth; them not understanding what I’m saying, asking for numerous unrelated photos) they’re asking me to mail back the entire diaper pail so they can “look into what happened”? Without sending a replacement? WE JUST NEED A CORD!!!!

Love/Hate
I have a love/hate relationship with this thing. I think it truly does mask the smell of stinky diapers, however I want to dropkick it out the window at 3 am when it’s full and I have to slam the door shut to make it stay closed. That being said. 4 stars

pedal doesn't work well
The pedal takes lots of force to push down, to the point where it simply doesn't work on rugs. it tips over before the lip opens up. I am really disappointed in this product.

Mildew smell and wouldn't power on
The outside box arrived with some water spots, which I didn't think was a bit deal until I opened it and got an overwhelming smell of mildew/mold. The inside box appeared okay, and I figured the smell would dissipate eventually. However it wouldn't even power on and I noticed brown streaks on the bottom of the unit. It's annoying that I have to go through the hassle of returning a product when I am 9 months pregnant.

No smell!
I never used another diaper pail so I can’t compare but I never smelled a dirty diaper with this in our nursery. I also use the Munchkin UV bags and even when I change out the bags, never smelled anything gross. My friends with babies are always amazed that they don’t smell anything in our baby’s room. It is pricey and I had my doubts about buying it initially but 6 months in, I am so glad I got it

Worked at first
Loved this because it didn’t smell like dirty diapers until it decided it wanted to stop working and now the diapers smell atrocious. Contacted munchkin in hopes to fix the issue.

LOVE our diaper pail. You don’t get poop smell at all It’s amazing. We use the up & up trash bags they fit no problem. I shove as many diapers as I can I there and let me tell you the pail holds up it’s good quality.

Lifesaver
If you have a two story home, you need this. Instead of constantly bringing your diapers downstairs or even to another room to throw away, use the pail! Its do easy to use, it doesn’t smell, and it’s super convenient

Good idea, bad design
Returned this the next day. It’s a great concept but not executed well. The door on the front does not latch properly so when you shove a dirty diaper in it and close the lid it doesn’t activate the UV light unless you stand there and hold the door shut. Also the foot pedal does not work on carpet. The unit just falls forward.

Not worth it.
The closure constantly opens and the pail doesn’t lock in. Doesn’t contain the smell and used to have another diaper pail but ended up trying this one because of the new technology but should’ve hmjsut stuck with my old one. This is simply Overpriced for lower quality and there’s no instruction video on how to set it up.
