Why o why did the company change the scent on the original beauty bar?? The new scent has a weird, almost unclean smell to it. I’ve been using Dove for many years as this is the only product I do not react to but the new scent is pretty off putting! I’m going to have to look elsewhere now.

I have been using Dove beauty bar for 50 years. I just opened a new package of Dove and something is very different. I do not like it at all. My face is sticky, not clean. When the soap touched my lips, it left a chemical aftertaste. I am not sure why Dove would change a product that has been successful for 50+ years. I do not like the changes. I will need to find a new soap after 50 years of using your product. For years I have traveled with my own bar of Dove soap so I did not have to use hotel soap. Now, Dove is just like all the rest.

I couldn't figure out why my face was itchy, I'm breaking out & I am 61 years old. I've used Dove bar soap since I was a child because I'm severely allergic to perfumed soaps. It wasn't until I started using the new package of Dove soap, that I started to notice a difference in the fragrance. Then I Googled Dove Soap & found out that the formula was changed. Please go back to the original formula!! I can't understand why you would change such a wonderful product.

The new scent is horrible!!! It made my whole upstairs smell like a chemical perfume that gave me a migraine headache. I had to double bag it in ziplock bags and throw it away. Will never buy it again! The old scent was a nice soft clean scent, please return to the old scent.

I have used dove for a long as I can remember. My whole family has used it for a long as I can remember. So many people have a 10 product skin care face cleaning routine I use dove. One product. I have very dry skin and dove does not dry it out. I use the bar soap.Hope they don't get rid of the bars. I do only use the white bar. So satisfied with the white bar, I have not tried any of the other ones.

title says it all: you ruined the fragrance! this used to smell nice - not overwhelming or perfumey. now it smells like a very perfumey version of the old fragrance. i'll use the bar i just got but i will not be using it again once it's gone. quit reformulating products people like and that made you popular to begin with! you are making things worse, not better. you're nothing without your customers and you're betraying us. also the bars are definitely smaller than they used to be.

What happened to Dove Original?? The new smell is so bad I ended up throwing out the entire package. The smell permeated my bathroom, bedroom and even made it down the hall. I'm sure someone thought this change was a good idea, but if the company's judgment is this bad I don't think I can be a customer anymore.

I’ve been getting tattoos for over twenty years and I’ve never spent money on things people recommend like tattoo goo etc, just white dove soap to wash a new tattoo and in a couple weeks when it’s healed it looks better then when you left the shop.

I’ve been using Dove bar soap for decades-something has changed in the formula. It no longer suds up. I have soft water and still it takes longer to get lather enough to wash my face. So disappointing. I’ll try another bar and then I’ll look elsewhere.
