    Skin Likes It

    Dove Original makes my skin soft without harmful ingredients. The last time I checked, it is a safer soap to use per EWG.org. I use the unscented bar for my face, but like a soap scent for the body. The only change I would like to see is the shape: if it were rectangular, I might not drop it so easily, as it slips out of my hands (what can I say? I are a klutz).

    Poor smell now

    I am so dissappointed in the product's smell after using it for over 60 years! I thought maybe I'd just bought a bad batch or had gotten covid or what?!?, but subsequent purchases & use has left me wondering why on earth after this many years has it been changed? It is not the same & you have absolutely ruined the experience of what was always the besr soap ever.

    Something's changed, and not for the better.

    Nearly 40 years of using Dove and I'm at a loss. It always made my skin feel soft and clean, but now my skin is dry and sticky, just like regular soap. I don't know what you recently changed, but please change it back. There's no point in paying a premium for Dove if it's going to make my skin feel dry and tight. It feels like the end of an era. Sad, really.

    You all need to go back to the drawing board and figure out what people are all saying about your soaps smell. I have used Dove for many years as my children could use nothing else with having exzema. Now it is definitely not the same and stinks. What are you all doing over there? Fix this issue right Now! Bring back the old Dove recipe and stop messing with it!

    Not the same

    I used to use Dove years ago and decided to buy it again. Can’t quite understand the 5star reviews. Aside from the obviously smaller size, it was an effort to actually get suds. I remember a creamier soap and this dry bar is a waste of money.

    No good!

    This new fragrance is terrible. I purchased a 2 pack of original bars and immediately notice a difference in smell. It had an almost waxy/artificial smell, with virtually next to no fragrance. I just purchased a 2 pack of the pink bars only to find they have also been changed. I don’t even feel fresh and clean anymore using this soap. I’m extremely disappointed, and will be changing brands ASAP!

    Not the same

    Loved Dove as an alternate, especially in the Winter months or after sun exposure in Summer. I have noticed a change in scent. It does not have the sweet Dove scent it used to. It actually kind of stinks after a while. Why the change in formula? It is already a more expensive bar soap. Was worth the extra money before. Not so sure now.

    Did they change the smell/scent to this soap?? I have been using this for about 25 years as it’s the only soap that doesn’t make me have an infection! I’m so scared now I’m going to have a terrible infection. I smell gross now. What has happened to this soap???

    I’m so disappointed in the change made to the fragrance in the original Dove soap that I have used for over 30 years and now it has a cheap lotion and chemical smell. I bought a new pack thinking it was just a bad batch but the new bars are very stinky too! Why did they have to ruin it? I think it’s time to find a new brand.

    Now Smells gross- long time user. Doesn’t clean.

    We’ve used this product as a family for over 25 years. We historically loved the smell and cleanliness Feeling after use. However recent purchases over past several months- the bars smell yucky. Doesn’t lather like used to as well. Thought bad batches. Tried other stores. Won’t be buying again which is disappointing. Please fix what you broke.
