So dry & so pasty :(
When I hear CC Cream, I feel like one can reasonably expect a lotion like consistency. The texture is basically an extra thick, weirdly sticky foundation. I’ve tried layering with lotion and/or primer, as well as actually mixing the product with moisturizer - none of these strategies helped. You can get the coverage/finish to look pretty good with LOTS of blending, but there are far better and more user friendly products out there. I generally love Elf as a brand, but this is a huge miss.

I wish I had read the reviews about this product before picking it up. In my mind a CC cream is lightweight and incorporates a moisturizer, but this product is the opposite. It was super thick and didn't spread very easily. It's very full coverage, and matte, so it highlighted imperfections. On top of that, it dried my skin out so much--after wearing it for just one day, my skin was really dry and irritated and required a couple of days of heavy moisturizer to get it back to normal. I give this product a star for the color match--the light neural shade was nice, and a star for the tube packaging, which made it easy to carry around and use. Maybe people with oily skin can tolerate this product better, but if you have combination or dry skin at all, it might not be a good fit.
