Great product but!
We were thinking ,as most of us here at the office have one, that you need to make it available for purchase the inter pot and lid the lid should be clear so you can make up extra meals and store them and you can just grab and go. other than that we love it.

Complete waste of money. Bought to use in the office but the unit doesn’t warm at all. Power light glows that it is on but entire unit stays cold to the touch. Too bad I washed it before using and now can’t even return it.

Hello Karen, Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Crock-Pot 20oz Lunch Crock Food Warmer. The unit is designed to gently warm pre cooked food over time rather than heat it quickly, and while the exterior may remain cool to the touch, the inner stainless steel container should gradually warm the contents. If your Lunch Crock is not heating your food at all even after being plugged in for an extended period, that is not the experience we want you to have. Please reach out to us directly so we can review your situation and explore available support options with you, contact to us via our "Contact Us" form on our official website. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5/8pm Eastern Time. Best regards, —Crock-Pot Consumer Care

Makes lunch at work and school so easy
Absolutely convenient, better than using a microwave because it stays hotter for much longer. The quality is outstanding, it fits in my bag for school.

Design could use tweaking, NEEDS 2ND INNER POT.
I live the crockpot, but there are no replacement inner pots available. When I asked on their site about this, I got a reply with a link to a set of replacement part vendors and directions telling to me to just enter the model number. I went and found the model number and the. Did this at the various replacement part vendors. And there is no replacement liner. Why did you send me this email?!? So.... I agree with some others that the lid can be tricky. I loosen mine and also release the plug (pull it up) before heating, and also try to remove the inner lid before I take it out of the main unit. As others have found, don't use the swinging handle for leverage or it may break. It doesn't co.e with a lot of directions, so this is what I found works for me. If you leave the lid tight and the plug down, it will build pressure and pop. (Luckily my second lid was on but everyone in the office heard it). If you just pull the plug, it won't pop, but you'll never get the inner lid off. It's a very good item, but the design could def use tweaking and since they're obviously making inner pots, why not offer them for sale so if you're making 2 meals at work, you don't have to carry one in a different container and wash the liner between meals?!? That's just common sense. I'm not buying 2 main units, so you've lost out on income. Not sure how that's a great strategy.

Hello Lara, Thank you for reaching out to us with your detailed feedback on our Lunch Crock® Food Warmer. We are pleased to hear that you are enjoying the lunch warmer overall, but we are very sorry for the frustration you experienced while trying to find a replacement food container. We understand how disappointing it must have been to follow the link provided, search by model number, and then discover that the liner was not available. That is not the experience we want for our customers, and we apologize for the confusion. We also appreciate you sharing the tips you have learned about using the lid safely. While we are glad you found a method that works, we agree that the design should feel more intuitive and should not require trial and error. Your suggestion about offering additional food containers is valuable, and we will share it with the appropriate team for further evaluation. If you need any assistance or you have more feedback, please feel free to reach out via the 'Contact Us' form on our official website. We are available Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. Thank you again, Crockpot® Consumer Care

Excellent Food Heating Option for Work
When you don't like to use a microwave or do not have one available, this is an excellent solution. It heats in the convenient short amount of time that it states in the manual. Also, it heats just to the point where you need to blow your food a little bit to take a bite. It holds the right amount of food. It is light weight, but sits still while using. The first lid removes so easily, with just one twist. The lid on the metal bowl screws on and off easily as well. The feature I like the most is that the bowl lifts out of the base. It can be washed separate from the base, eliminating the worry of getting water in the mechanical part for the plug. Another favorite feature is that if I did not get the chance to eat (being a school teacher), I can unplug it and it will stay warm until I do. Otherwise, I take it home in the bowl to save for another day. I have even needed to leave work while it was hot. All I had to do is unplug it, pick the whole unit up with the handle, and place it in my cart. I had no issues; it did not leak and the heat did not mess up other items in my cart. Additionally, the plug is not flimsy. It pushes right into the base. For a person who is a little OCD like myself, I love that it is on the side and not the back. It's great not having to turn it around to the back to plug and unplug it, especially when it is pretty warm to the touch. Lastly, the base can stay at work while I prep a meal in the bowl to save time in the mornings. This is the reason I am taking the time to write a review, I want to get more bowls and lids so I can prep multiple meals on the weekends. I'm hopeful the company will make them available separate from having to buy the whole base to get more. I hope these details will give you the confidence that your purchase will perfectly fit your wants and needs. This is absolutely a 5 star product!

Great little pot
Love this little crockpot, it warms up food to a good temperature and it the perfect size for work lunch. My only wish is that it would be nice to have the ability to buy extra inserts and lids so that it would be easier for everyday use as I don't run my dishwasher everyday. Handwashing isn't terrible it just would be that little bit more convenient if I could have three insert pots and lids.

I've had my mini crockpot for over a week and I use it everyday for work. I think the food tastes better than using a microwave and it doesn't smell up my office. I plug it in for an hour and my food is ready to go at my lunch time. I think this is going to be my best purchase of 2026.

Love that the cord wraps and stores at the bottom. Plugs into the wall. Works great. I plug it in a hour before lunch and heats up great!

Lasted 3 days
It worked for less than a week. I loved it for 3 days. Day 4, it stopped working. The power is on, but there is no heat—such a bummer.

Owned for a few years, great product
I own two of these portable crock-pot and I love them! I purchased these a few years ago and I am still so happy with their performance. They heat food up without burning or the food smelling or tasting like other food from sharing a community microwave. I heat up my food in the privacy of my office and I am not in the lunch traffic waiting while standing there awkwardly with my food in hand. The food holds about 20oz and for me that is perfect, I did see the bigger one but I do not eat that much. Having these for so many years, taking them back and forth, I carry the entire unit until this last year. It is banged around and still in almost perfect condition. I love this crock-pot, the only this I could say is I wish they sold the inner bowl and lids separately. I have to wash the bowl/lid every single night and I just don't want to have to do that. Recommend for sure.

Does the job!
I preheat my lunch for about 1 hour and it's nice and warm which I love. however I do not like the plastic lid because it's difficult to properly secure and feels a bit cheap to be honest. I love the color it's aesthetically pleasing but the bottom line is it does the job...that said, there are much more reasonable products that also do the job just as well for much less cost. This was the best price I've found.

Lunch saver!
I bought this to heat my lunch in my classroom and I’m amazed at how quickly it heats my food. If I’m bringing frozen I put it on 3 hours before lunch. If I’m bringing non-frozen I can put it on an hour or so before lunch. From pasta to meat dishes to chowders/soups/chilis, It’s always hot by lunchtime and I no longer have to wait in line for the 1 microwave in the lounge. I also love that I can put leftovers in there when cleaning up dinner so less dishes.

Would like to purchase replacement insert/lids
How can extra replacement inserts/lids be purchased? I think those would be nice for meal prepping for a few days at a time. Purchased this as a gift for my daughter last year and she LOVES it! She uses it several times a week for work lunches. She loves having a warm lunch ready to eat as soon as she gets a break between clients without having to spend time going to the microwave and waiting for her food to warm up that way.

No way to use in the car
I am a homecare RN and wanted something to heat food up in the car since I'm tired of cold meals. I cannot find a car adapter this will work with and ended up buying a power inverter to use. I liked the Crock pot name but may end up purchasing one specifically designed for USB use. I wish there was an option to purchase a car cord or that you could have 2 different packaging options for each type of cord. I would give it 5 stars if there was a car cord.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience with our Lunch Crock-Pot® Food Warmer. We understand how helpful it would be to have a dedicated car adapter or dual cord option for on-the-go use, especially in your role as a home care RN, where warm meals can make a big difference. While the Lunch Crock-Pot® currently doesn’t come with a car cord option, your feedback is very valuable and will be passed along to our team for future product improvements. In the meantime, your solution of using a power inverter is a great workaround, but we also recommend checking portable food warmers designed for vehicle use if that’s a more convenient option. Thank you for choosing Crock-Pot® and for all the important work you do every day. https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us Best regards, Crock-Pot Consumer Care Team
