Hot Garbage! Not a slow cooker
Not sure how Crock-Pot gets away with calling this a slow cooker. There's nothing slow about it, Using the low setting, a 3 lb, 4 in thick beef roast was up to 170 degrees after four hours. The whole point is to slow cook your meal. This thing is garbage!

Broken after 4 uses
Insert cracked and broken after 4 uses. 1 year warranty starts on the manufacturing date, which was over by the time I purchased it from the store.

Excellent slow cooker!
I use this crockpot slow cooker regularly for a lot of my cooking needs! The features are great and allows me to cook at the time that I want. Cracked less than a year into use.
I’ve had this less than a year and only use it a few times a month and it developed a huge crack today. No cold liquid, nothing I haven’t cooked before, and it developed a huge hairline crack all around the bottom. My last crock pot lasted18 years before the controls stopped working, this one less than a year. I’m super disappointed and upset that I now have to either get a replacement bowl, or an entirely new one. Thinking about trying a different brand of slow cooker after this.

Crock Broke After Little Use
Had the same issue that other reviewrs have mentioned. (Broken/cracked crock) Was making dinner, smelled like something was burning, walked into a huge mess on my kitchen counter. Crock must have the smallest crack that is hard to spot but allows for liquid to seep through. So disappointing as I had hardly used this crockpot and it was rather pricey. I would not purchase this one again despite loving the largev8 qt size.
