    Dry & irriated skin around eyes

    This product gave me major irritation and dry skin around my eyes. I never directly applied it around my eyes, but did apply it prior to moisturizer. It took me weeks to determine the cause, as I hadn’t expected a Vanicream product (specifically marketed towards sensitive skin) to be the cause. I have used several other vitamin c serums without this issue. Disappointed that I’m now past the return window and stuck with this product.

    I adore this cream. I'm probably on my 6th tube. I use it under my makeup and under facial cream . When I use it alone, I find that I have to reapply a few hours in- But I carry a tube with me and just rub it on my palms and pat it on and I looked instantly refreshed- but not dewy. I also use it around my eyes at bedtime where I can't put other lotions that will sting my eyes - I definitely notice a slight brightening.

    Effective but great for sensitive skin!

    This is the only vitamin c serum I have ever been to tolerate, because it’s THD ascorbate, a different vitamin c formulation from most serums. Every other one makes me breakout or causes burning/a rash, but not this one! I have been using it every morning and it makes my skin feel moisturized and I really think it’s helped make my skin look brighter and just better after several months of use. This is my first vanicream product and I will try them again! Highly recommend for sensitive skin!
