The Luxury Vinyl Plank Safe Rug Pad is engineered specifically for vinyl plank and tile flooring, constructed of felt and an EVA non slip backing. This pad is designed without rubber and latex, and does not contain harmful plasticizers, such as phthalates, that can react with certain floor finishes. Its closed cell backing provides a moisture barrier, stopping spills and pet accidents alike from seeping through to your floor

    Ok but not great

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a pad for my kitchen runner which was constantly slipping. I was able to cut the pad to fit lengthwise with household scissors. The pad helps but the rug gets lots of foot traffic and still shifts several inches to the side along with the pad. I typically have to adjust it daily to keep it in place. Its an improvement but definitely will not hold a rug stationary in place. I bought it for my new lvp flooring. Considering the price, I was disappointed.

    Nice rug overall - but easily sheds/pills

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this large rug for our living room and it was the perfect size. Absolutely love the color and pattern. My only complaint is its fragile - I have to use a gentle vacuum attachment or it sheds/pills/comes a part really easily. It also has a lingering smell that lasts a while. Otherwise the style and color is great.

The flooring in our Kitchen is Armstrong Deluxe Vinyl tiles which will stain if rugs havelatex or other questionable backing and will stain.I'm confident that this pad will be safe for our flooring.I am impressed that the surface of the pad has an additional nonskid texture applied to it. The rug really stays put.Oh how I hated having to constantly reposition the rug.It is gray in color, which is not an issue because its not a rug.And it is already in place, and working well.I'm already considering a pad like this for a entryway rug that we have

    Great rug pad!

The upper layer of padding is just the right thickness for our new area rug. I was able to cut the pad to size using just our good quality scissors.
