A: The instructions I read said to wash often based on how soiled items are or if in contact with ill person. Says once a week or so is good enough for daily items. Every wash is also ok.

A: Lysol Laundry Sanitizer should be used in conjunction with laundry detergent. Wash cycle additives such as stain remover can also be used. Lysol Laundry Sanitizer is formulated to be used in the rinse cycle without additional additives, such as fabric softener. Lysol Laundry Sanitizer provides a limited softening effect.

A: I add it in addition to the regular laundry soap.

A: That is the wrong way, you are wasting money. It is only effective in the rinse cycle and must be in the rinse cycle for 16 minutes. Those are the detailed directions.
