this has great suction and works well! odor control is very nice. I put it at the lowest setting and feel it is not overpowering at all. it is heavy to haul and pick up so not the ladies to lug everywhere but great when trying to deep clean

Disappointed
I bought this vacuum to replace my older shark duo clean lift away that was well loved. This vacuum, however, did not meet expectations. First, with this model all of the connections seemed faulty. It was difficult to disconnect and reconnect both the canister and hose. I would think that I had reconnected the canister to the base, only for it to fall off in the middle of vacuuming. Second, this vacuum is unexpectedly loud. Obviously, I expect a vacuum to be loud, however, this vacuum is even louder than my shop vac. Third, the attachment tools that are supposed to sit on the back of the machine are constantly falling off. It is so disappointing to see such a decline in the quality of design. I am giving it two stars because the suction is good, but I will not be buying another Shark vacuum in the future.

Best for Younger People and Families with Pets
The Shark Stratos AZ3002 sent to replace my Shark Rotator Lift-Away with Self Cleaning Brushroll Bagless Pet Upright Vacuum Cleaner with HEPA Filter, and Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology (Model # ZU621) purchased in 2023 at Lowe’s; that had a 4.8 rating. I loved that Shark to life because it was lightweight, highly maneuverable with the swivel steering, consistently strong suction, with lights allowing you to see what you were picking up, and easy to clean. The features on the Model #ZU621 were rich. I could easily vacuum areas whether high or low. The Shark Stratos has the Anti-Allergen Complete Seal with HEPA, which is important to me. However, in my opinion, the DuoClean PowerFins HairPro is better suited for younger long haired individuals with pets, or families with pets. The brush and fins require cleaning. It isn’t difficult to remove or clean the brush, but the fins and roller are challenging at best. Perhaps the Odor Neutralizer Technology was, in part, meant to address that issue. I’m not a fan of the artificial fragrance. A more serious issue is that parents of children with allergies and skin sensitivities, and lung conditions, along with adults, such as myself, should be able to find the names of the chemicals used in fragrances. That in itself can negate the Anti-Allergen system. Being cognizant when emptying the canister is important as well because debris can be released back into the air even though it releases away from the body. My last issues with the Shark Stratos is its weight and the fight between it trying to drag you across the carpet, and struggling to pull it backwards because of the spinning wheels. The vacuum is heavy, and the lift-away pod is heavy. Heavy doesn’t always equals better, particularly when you’re vacuuming at 64+ years old. The correct way to vacuum a room is slowly-from north to south, then east to west. To reach higher places from top to bottom, is grueling because of the pod’s weight and the tip over factor. I ended up with tendonitis.

Odor What?
The vacuum cleaner appears to work well, time will tell. My issue is with the odor neutralizer. Where is the logic in an odor neutralizer that stinks like a full can of Febreze was sprayed in the one room. I want odor NEUTRALIZED not covered up. Cleaning the vacuum and filters will take care of a vacuum odor. This feature is useless.

Not the best not the worst
This seems to work well but the suction is not as strong as I expected using the attachments. Also they give you three attachments but there is only space for 2 on the vacuum so you need to store 1 (makes no sense).

Pet cleaning power
This vacuum is amazing. I put it up against 2 other vacuums I had and it outperformed them like nothing. I have 3 dogs that shed bad and this pulls the hair out of the carpet like nothing else I’ve seen. Large capacity, easy to empty, and seems like it will last a long time. I usually clean the filters by rinsing them but it doesn’t seem super over priced to buy replacements to make maintenance easy.

Great model!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No Shark products have ever disappointed me. I purchased this model after my APEX model's canister broke (my negligence and fault). The part was not in stock and I was offered an upgrade to the Stratos. Added the odor control feature to the Stratos and anti hair wrap feature which is a very desired feature as I own a Great Pyr (a long hair breed that sheds constantly).

I have been using this for a few months now, this was a replacement for a different shark model and I wanted the clog free brush feature ont his one, since that was my biggest complaint with the old one. That part does work well. I am dissipointed in the accessories that come with this model compared to my previous one. The quality (the part that attaches to the hose is cheap plastic that has alread cracked) and the fact that they will not stay on the holders built in to the unit. It is also slightly heavier than my previous model, but that is not much of an issue to me.

Great features and suction!
This thing will suck your soul out! Unbelievable suction! I love how versatile it is also. Hair doesn't get tangled up around the brush roll like other vacuums. The roller comes out to make it easy for cleaning. The odor neutralizer is also a great feature.

Free replacement
This unit was a replacement for my defective Apex machine. I was extremely pleased that Shark elected to replace the old machine at no cost to me rather than work through a repair of the 2022 unit. So far it functions on a level equivalent to the old unit. My only complaint is the lack of lighting on the wand, but I am otherwise very pleased.

Terrific!
Love the maneuverability, and it has great suction. I live with a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and the Shark Stratos Upright Vacuum does an incredible job cleaning my bedroom carpet. It's easy to maneuver in tight spaces, and it is very convenient for fur removal from the container, simply and efficiently.

Strongly dislike it
I hate this vacuum. My shark navigator died and I bought this supposedly similar one to replace it. They have cheapened everything. The connections are unstable and often snap out after you try to put pieces back together. Often when I try to plug it in it doesn't turn on, so I have to check all the connections to find out which wiggled loose and is causing the problem. They took the light off of the wand piece, which is inconvenient. When things get trapped, you cannot open the head of the vacuum anymore to clear it out, or remove the large brush roll, so every clog is terribly hard to remove. It doesn't even suck as well as the earlier model. I am very unhappy with this purchase.
