Short cord
The cord is no shere near as long as the older version. The handle pips out at random. I dont know why shark changed the design but my oldet model stratos from 2 years ago was better.

Still good but a little less than before
I had a previous model from 2020 (AZ1002) that died but I had bought the lifetime VIP warranty and was super happy they honored it and replaced it with this newer version (AZ3002). This one still does a great job but having basically side by side experience with the two models, I can tell they cut a couple little corners compared to the earlier one. 1. The cord is shorter, I can't reach into the places I used to. 2. They took away the LED light on the manual wand (which was perfect for car or corner vacuuming). 3. The motor power has dropped slightly. 4. Their lifetime VIP warranty no longer exists. So definitely some shrinkflation going on here.

Stratos vacuum
Been using for a week or more. It is a little heavy But that does not bother me It is a very good vacuum. Sucks up pet hair great and cleans my carpets. Right nowI love it.

Whole house cleaning
This is great for a whole house cleaning! I like that it is corded so I can clean the whole house without waiting for it to recharge. It has a hardwood or carpet option. I no longer use a broom because this cleans my floors so well. It comes with plenty of attachments to get in crevices.

Quality not there on this one
I liked the suction but the quality is not there. I have had it for 1 yr and 4 months. The wheel has fallen off and there is no way to clean the front inside of the machine. It was pretty pricey so I expected for more than a year and half.

Would not buy it
I bought this a few months ago. While there are some features that are good, it is the features that you don't see that would make me never buy this had I known. After only 8 cleanings the hair on the main roller collects inside at each end. To clean this is laborious on the kind scale and absolutely ridiculous in comparison to other vacuums we have owned and for that reason I would not buy this again. It simply is not worth the aggravation. I am shocked that no one on the reviews notes this glaring deficiency.

I brought this about a month ago. It does a great job my thick pile carpet, my only complaint is that is hard to turn.

Hair doesnt get stuck in roll!
I love the stratos. I did have an issue. With the power button.. The vacuum wouldn't power on at first. Finally I got it to come on. I habe only used thr vacuum 1x so far but I do feel it works good!

Bring back these features
My vacuum broke (it was a Shark Apex DuoClean) and they replaced it under warranty, but they didn't have the same model anymore. I'm grateful for the replacement, but I really hate it, it's missing two of my favorite features! It doesn't have the same suction along the baseboards. The handle doesn't always click into place when I put the hand attachment back on. Switching from carpet to floor isn't as smooth. And the two most used features? They got rid of the easy access panel on top for the rollers. They also took away the light when you use the hand attachment. Those features made that vacuum awesome for a house with kids. 😒 I miss my old vacuum, it would literally suck up socks and Hot Wheels through the hand attachment 😆 (not on purpose). Their customer care is 100% on point though, and Shark has the ABSOLUTE BEST WARRANTIES! I'll keep buying Shark products. These little features really made a difference.
