Never stops shedding. I've never had a rug that fills my vacuum up to no end. The color is beautiful and the perfect size for my space. Can't decide if I can handle the shedding much longer.

Beautiful rug! It does shed at first like any natural wool rug, which is pretty much unavoidable, but the quality makes up for it. Gorgeous design, great craftsmanship, and overall a piece I absolutely love in my home.

I agree with the other comments! Beautiful rug but sheds way too much! I’m constantly sweeping my floors! Very disappointing because it’s a beautiful rug!

I did love this rug but unfortunately the other reviewers are correct, it sheds soo much! My rug feels lumpy/ uneven when walking on it from the spots that shed. I would totally keep it otherwise but i feel its best to return given the price point.

The rug was a great color unfortunately it was shedding so badly my vacuum was full Each time I put it in my suv to return and could barely get the fibers out of the trunk They asked reason for return and my clothes were covered in it and I just raked my hand across the rug. Eek I’ve had other wool rugs and never like this Yes some shedding but this was too much

I have never regretted a purchase so fast! This rug is beautiful, thick and soft but the shedding doesn’t make it worth it. I filled up my Dyson vacuum 4 times. I just opened it 20 minutes ago. Fibers are all over my house now and myself and my vacuum are covered in it! I’ve never seen such a thing. I could vacuum it ten time and it just keeps shedding. Not looking forward to putting this in my car to return. So pretty though which is too bad.

The rug itself is beautiful and the quality was great but it sheds really bad. I’m not an overly picky person but I have all hardwood floors in my house and this rug was making my house a mess. I even thought the shedding would slow down with use and by sweeping it. Nope! I used it for a month and the fuzz was still coming off. I decided to return after a month because I just couldn’t take the shedding anymore or the extra sweeping—it was never ending. Also it’s not grey, it looks like the picture!

IT’S NOT GREY! It’s just as listed in the photos. It’s super soft & doesn’t require a pad under. It sheds but I laid it out to flatten and vacuumed in all directions w/ a few passes and that helped a lot. I did used grip tape to help it not slide around on my hardwood floor. I used it in my small space to put my 36” table n chairs on. Was on an amazing sale! This is the 5x7 table.

The rug is beautiful. However, slight variation in color. It’s lighter cooler tones than demonstrated in the picture, but I still love it. It also sheds a little, but it’s still new so I’m hoping that’s why.

Beautiful, high quality wool rug. I was worried about the color due to other reviews, but we have gray carpet and a very warm gold/cognac velvet couch and this places nicely with both. Other reviewers photos look way more gray than ours, but we also have a ton of natural light in this room, which I think helps. The size is 9x12, not 7x10. I love how thick and heavy it is, 70 lbs! I think it will hold up well to our dogs and baby.

Why the sudden triple in price in the larger size?! I was going to purchase.. went to my cart then it jumped from $300 to $900?! No way…

Price increased to $900?????? It was $300 and now it’s been tripled? Shame on studio mcgee.

I just received this rug and I'm obsessed with it! SO PRETTY in my space, which is neutral and this rug very much elevates the space and comfort is substantial weight for the price. It does shed a bit, however it is in a low traffic area. As the other reviewers mentioned, this is 9 x 13 rug and the 7x 10 is very wrong. I wanted the larger size, so I was very pleased and ordered it. Its difficult to find nice rugs, inexpensive and large size. All and all couldn't be more pleased. Studio McGee is my fav design choice, but some of the quality can be less than desirable. This is great!

I have been searching for months for the perfect rug for our living room. I admit I am very very selective when it comes to buying a rug because I hate thin cheap looking rugs that have to be replaced constantly. With that being said this rug is AMAZING! I am trying to switch over to all natural fibers like wool and so I picked this rug for that reason and the design/color palette. It has exceeded all my expectations. It’s thick, yet soft and comfy underfoot (something I don’t typically expect from wool rugs), it’s also easy to clean. My rug actually arrived stained because the packaging had holes which allowed dirt to seep in, however I was able to get the stains out easily! The rug is more muted (cream,gray, and beige) than pictured in the photo. The photo shows it looking more yellow-ish. It’s also very oversized! I think it might be bigger than it is listed. This rug has made our living room so cozy and inviting! Buy it!! You will not regret it! It’s one of my favorite rugs I’ve owned!

I stalked this rug for weeks before it’s release and was sooo excited to receive it. It finally arrived yesterday and needless to say, I am so disappointed. I literally thought I received the wrong rug. The warm browns I had fell in love with online were really dingy shades of grey with a hint of yellow. I can understand some color variation but, this is just false advertising.

Beautiful rug, great quality! Purchased as a 7x10 but arived 9x12. Thankfully the bigger size worked in the space I purchased it for.

Everything online says 7x10 but the rug is actually 9x12. The rug is beautiful and I love the coloring… However it was A little disappointing to order it for a room and it be a lot bigger than expected.
