Avoid if You're tan
Definitely not for darker, tan skinned folks. Made me look like a ghost, leaves such a bad white cast on my face and body. Also super greasy, it gets everywhere and just feels gross. Hate that I have to use it all up because I really dread wearing this stuff.

Finally a high zinc oxide content (more than 20%) sunscreen that doesn't leave "white ghost cast", has few simple ingredients,and not greasy to where it spreads on your clothes!

Chalky white
I'm brown and when I applied this sunscreen I became chalky white and after some 5 mins of subbing it in now I look like I have dark spots. Wouldn't recommend it not clear and feels chalky, dry yet greasy. Returning to store.

I bought this because it is labeled as clear zinc. I am fair skinned, but with this sunscreen on, I am white as a ghost. This stuff is just thick white zinc oxide paste. Skip it!

Ive been looking for a face sunscreen for some time that doesn’t leave me looking like a ghost. This is it, SPF50, Water resistant and EWG verified. It’s a bit thick, but smooths well. Recommend. Fair complexion, no white cast.

NOT a clear sunscreen
I like the Think sunscreen brand just because they are a reef safe brand however I usually don’t vibe the best with mineral sunscreens. I usually stick to chemical sunscreens since mineral sunscreens have such a high rate of leaving a white cast and this one is no different. Really disappointed that they labeled this a “clear sunscreen” because it is white and thick when it comes out. It thins alittle bit with your skin but just leaves it feel greasy. The white cast is slightly noticeable too even though I’m pretty pale. Would not be confident recommending this to people with brown or black skin

Sunscreen protects well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first tried this sunscreen at Disney World in the summer. I needed sweat proof and as much sun protection as I could get. I reapplied several times a day and did not see any signs of sun on my face. I did not notice it going in my eyes or making then burn. I feel like it is sweat proof as I put it to the ultimate test. It is thick going on and a little difficult to rub in, but did not leave much white cast. I prefer the tinted daily face because it rubs in easier, but this is good for being outdoors and sweating, especially since it is sf 50 versus 30.

Most physical sunscreens that contain non-nano zinc oxide as the main active ingredient do tend to leave behind some pale cast, unfortunately. Only chemical sunscreens are fully transparent. Our physical sunscreen formulas use micronized non-nano zinc oxide, which provides minimal white cast if rubbed in adequately.

I do not know how this possibly got good reviews. it's like slathering butter, cooking grease, and tooth paste on your face. sits there with a sheen and never sinks it. I literally could not wait to shower to get this off of me. it's the heaviest most uncomfortable greasy lotion I've ever come in contact with.

Great Sunscreen
This is the best facial sunscreen I have ever used. It goes on thick and white, but leaves absolutely no white cast at all once it dries. It is a bit greasy, but it works incredibly well. No sunburn, no dry skin or any skin irritation at all. It is very moisturizing to the skin. I apply it in the morning and it works all day.
