Not worth it
I was hoping this would be a good cutting board for light use even though some of the reviews said it wasn't good quality. I liked the price and the size and that it had the groves for juices on one side. However, the wood split in the middle after about a year of normal use. Finish also does not last, cut marks show and dark spots are staying on the wood even though I clean it regularly and apply cutting board oil and conditioner. I thought I was taking a chance on this based on other reviews. Now I can say for sure it's not worth it and will get a better quality cutting board.

Split after less than a year
I purchased this cutting board just after Christmas 2024. I pulled it out to use for Christmas 2025, and found a big split after less than a year. We only used it a handful of times, hand washed, and stored in a cabinet with only other cutting boards.

This is a gorgeous cutting board. It works beautifully. I wanted to replace my plastic cuting board with wood so we weren't ingesting microplastics. I had to research rubberwood because I had never heard of it. I'm sold! I'll rub it with mineral oil and love it. The price was crazy low and appreciated.

Large and sturdy
I'm very impressed with this carving board. It is a generous 14"x 20" size, making it wonderful for cutting vegetables or carving larger cuts of meat. The board is heavier, of a good quality rubberwood, and is also reversible. One side offers a groove for catching juices from meat of fruit and the other side is smooth and would work well as a serving tray or charcuterie board. I can see getting loads of use out of this at holidays and celebrations besides daily use. This board cleans easily by handwashing. It did move a little on my granite countertop since it does not have feet, but not so much that it was a problem. Overall, I really like the quality and love the larger size. Great addition to any kitchen.

Not a boring board!
This is a review of Figmint's new 14"x20" Rubberwood Carving Board with Juice Groove. I received this for free in exchange for my honest review. What a beautiful cutting/carving board and just the perfect addition to your home for all your holiday needs! It's made of very durable rubberwood, which also happens to be considered an environmentally friendly choice because it's made from trees that have already served their purpose in producing rubber! I learned something! Note that it is two-sided, so has no rubber stoppers. One side has the grooves for catching meat juices. The other side is plain. This board is very versatile as it can be used for carving meats (maybe a holiday turkey or roast?), or can even be used as a serving/charcuterie board. This will be a welcome addition to any kitchen so would also make a great gift!

lovely large carving board
Really pleased with this carving board. I will probably not use it for meat, but just so I can use it for other foods! Large enough that you could definitely carve a turkey, my plans for it include watermelon, pizza, and even flipping it over and using it for a large display or charcuterie board. Since it is reversible, it doesn't have feet or anything, and I did notice a little shifting on my counters (granite). Very pleased overall though, and looking forward to it getting a lot of use this holiday season.

Useful Board
The perfect Carving Board for the holiday season or special occasions. It is made of a light colored rubberwood and has a groove to catch the juice from the meat. I have used it recently to serve and display meats after grilling for company. I intend to use it for my ham and turkey when the holidays arrive. It can be easily cleaned and dried using my dishwashing spray and water.

Moldy board
Mold was present under label and on wood. Wood is porous. Mold is now in the wood. Tells me the wood is not being properly prepared before manufacture. Very unhealthy. Also the tag itself is glued to the board. If you are trying to keep chemicals and mold away from your food, this board is not for you.

Very affordable and big. Unfortunately, it is really warped now after only a few uses. It has never been soaked and only lightly hand-washed and dried. I'm considering putting feet on it since the whole thing just rocks and spins when you try to use it. Buyer beware.
