Description

It's time to put a stop to weed-infested lawns - take action with Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed5. This weed killer and lawn fertilizer utilizes WeedGrip™ Technology to grip onto and kill the lawn weeds you see and the ones you don't. It controls over 50 listed weeds, including clover, dandelion, and plantain. In addition, this product feeds to thickens your lawn and crowd out any future weeds. Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed5 when weeds are actively growing and daytime temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is wet from dew or watering, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ¾. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ¼. Do not water your lawn for 24 hours after application or apply if rain is expected within the next 24 hours. Do NOT apply to Creeping Bentgrass, St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Carpetgrass, or Lippia. One 11.32 lb. bag covers 4,000 sq. ft.

  • A: Great question! To get the safest and best results from Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed5, apply the product according to the package directions. Keep pets away from the treated areas for 24 hours and then water the product off of the grass blades and into the soil. Once the treated area has dried, it will be safe for non-grazing animals to be back in it. If your pets need access to the yard, consider treating the front yard on one day and the backyard on another.

    No need for weed and geed

    I like the program. However the second application is weed and feed I wish their was a choice of weed and feed and just fertilizer without weed killer I used it years ago and had an adverse outcome I’ve used this program for years. In the passed I was able to customize my order

    Trying again, mayb my lawn was just too bad

    Was hoping it would help my lawn look better but the crabgrass got so bad by the end of the summer I had to buy an additional crabgrass killer and now the lawn had dead spots the rest of the year. Hopefully this year will be better

    Use it consistently and it works perfectly!

    I have used Scotts 4 bag system for 20+ years and when combined with the right amount of water (I have an irrigation system) it is unbeatable - the envy of my neighbors. I have used it from scratch on my own lawn twice (moved from one residence to another) and on son and daughter's lawns and have fantastic lawns. Daughter does not have irrigation and still fantastic. Son gets a little lax on application and while still great, missing a bag here and there does show. So, my words of wisdom are to take the 45 minutes four times a year to apply when appropriate in your area, water if you can when needed, and enjoy! Fantastic product.

    The Scott's bundle purchase is the easiest and most cost effective way of quality lawn treatment. This year I added Grubex to the bundle so I'm all set once the spring comes along (in five long months).
