I have dry dry dry skin and have tried every moisturizer and serum under the sun and can confidently say 2 products have been life changing 1) this and 2) Beekman milk shake mist

I have always had dry skin and no moisturizer has ever been enough…until now. From the first use I could immediately tell the difference as my skin soaked it up. I even used it during the day for a few weeks as well. Now my skin feels and looks better than it has in a long time. It absorbs well into the skin and doesn't sit on top feeling greasy like some deep moisturizers. A little goes a long way so it lasts a while, but I've already ordered a 2nd container.

This product caused hives and swelling on my face. I would not recommend if you have sensitive skin.

I am 47 and have never found a moisturizer that doesn't break me out…. Until now… well, mostly. After several weeks of use, i am now having breakout but i dont jnow if its the product or hormones. I will keep using it but have reduced the locations I apply the moisturizer to allow my skin to heal and then try again all over. For people who are not prone to breakouts and have dry skin… I highly recommend.

Warning: if you do not like thick moisturizers please don't get this. It is fantastic for dry or dehydrated skin, it's a very dense and creamy texture, but when you warm it up with your fingers it melts well into the skin. I personally really like it. I don't typically go for expensive moisturizers but this is definitely one of the few that I think gives a very lush yet hydrated feel to the skin. I plan to stock up on this for future winter months, but I'd suspect it may be too much in the summertime. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

This face moisturizer is amazing! It’s the best one I’ve found in a long time. It feels hydrating, lightweight and refreshing.

I used to get extreme dry patches in my T zone, bad enough I refused to wear foundation because of how flaky my skin would look after applying it. I tried the original water drench moisturizer from PTR and loved it. When this version came out, i thought how big of a difference can it be? Its a HUGE difference. My skin stays soft hours and hours after applying, the overall feel is amazing. With anyone who struggles with dry, flaky skin this is a miracle worker. But you have to stay consistent. One jar lasts me almost 6 months, only a dime size is needed, two if it is particularly dry. Amazing product, so I recommend to bite the bullet when it comes to the price and give it a try.

It’s rich and keeps hydration going for the day but I would not rely on as night cream - additional moisture is needed.

I have dry skin and this is the most relieving and hydrating product ive tried. Found it through a free sample and had to get it. Love barriers but this is the best. Little goes a long way and keeps me moisturized all day/night.

I've purchased the original cloud cream numerous times! I love how hydrating that one is and how it sinks into my skin. It plays well with my makeup and doesn't cause breakouts. Just recently I purchased a set that has the OG cream and this RICH barrier cream. Wow, my new HG 💯 I put it on at night after actives and I can totally see & feel the difference in the morning. I'm 39, living in hot & arid AZ with an extremely oily T zone and insanely dry outer perimeter of my face. Not gonna lie, it leaves your face greasy but with visible results in the morning!!!! I've tried numerous thick moisturizers and nothing works like this one! Hydrated and doesn't break me out either. I use the OG cream in the morning & rich cream at night ❤️ Please don't ever stop making these creams!

I never used to use a hydrator expecting that my moisturizer would do the job but after 40, my skin kept getting drier and no matter how much expensive moisturizer I used, it never felt hydrated. Enter using a hydrator recommend by a dermatologist. I use a serum, hydrator and then my moisturizer. Game changer. I started with the Clinique one but this is superior in my opinion. Try it. Your thirsty skin will thank you!

I've been using the OG water drench facial moisturizer for 5+ years. I have very sensitive combo skin, and while the original formula is great for spring, summer and fall, i get more dry in the winter and need to supplement with a heavier moisturizer or even a lighter oil applied every other day. I thought this would be perfect - the heavier counterpart of my HG! It even has squalene, which is one of the oils i've had success with! This moisturizer has a much heavier feel, which i somewhat expected, but it doesn't absorb into my skin well. A little goes a long way. I haven't tried using this during the day, and don't think that would work well. Using at night, the following morning my skin still feels like there is something "on" it, preventing air from getting to my skin. This should be fine, especially in my ancient, dry house. Unfortunately, after two weeks of use, my pores are clogging and exacerbating my usually mild hormonal acne - turning red spots into fully-developed whiteheads. If i hadn't purchased this in a set i would likely have returned it, but i'll keep it for intermittent use if i get a particularly dry patch, it should be good for that. The ingredients are not irritating, so i will still call this safe for sensitive skin. If you have very dry skin that likes oil, this may work for you. However this product is more emollient than moisturizing, so imo skip if you have oily, seasonal combo, or acne-prone skin.

I love the original cloud drench moisturizer, so I thought I would love this one as well. But, this one feels like it just sits on your skin and doesn't absorb. Maybe I am the wrong skintype oily/combo.

Face is so soft after applying, I'll apply my makeup & everyone tells me I'm glowing cause the moisturizer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is pretty special. Can't decide which one I love more, the Hyaluronic Cloud Moisturizer or this barrier defense. This one is thicker and more emollient, and I can feel it absorb into my skin and work it's wonders immediately after application.

This is one of the only moisturizers I've used on my face that I can absolutely feel and see a difference near immediately. It's not heavy or oily. Just perfect for my skin. With a few days I had people saying my skin looked (and felt) so good. Highly recommend.
