So worth trying!
The serum is a product that I have repurchased 2 and have been gifted to me once by the brand. It works for my skin. My acne scars are harder to fade with the serum but I can definitely see a difference. I would advice giving the serum a try.

It works! Takes a bit, but I see visible changes.
This purchase was my second bottle, the smaller size at first and now the larger one. I'm about a quarter into the second bottle and see obvious lightening of dark spots on my forehead and car-window-sun vulnerable sides of my face. Friends have noticed! It's now a part of my twice-daily skincare routine, including the corresponding SPF lotion during the day. I just wish I'd thought to take a before picture!

Exceeds Expectations
Exceeds expectations ... it really works. I started with the small bottle and could tell it was actually improving my dark spots, so when I came back to restock, didn't think twice about getting the large size. I've always loved being outside, lived by the ocean for a dozen years and was always at the beach. I've been faithfully applying the MelaB serum twice a day and now wear sun screen on my face every day, even in the winter, with the Toleraine Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV. I also have the MelaB3 UV and will use that too during the summer.

Disappointing
I was really hopeful that this was finally something to fade the dark age spots on my face. My dermatologist told me to give it 3 weeks to show results. It has bee 4 weeks, and I see no change whatsoever. It leaves a white film after it dries, so it does nothing to soften the skin. I regret having purchased the large size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this product and try it out. I've heard great things about La Roche-Posay Niacinamide 10 Serum. This serum comes in a beautiful purple bottle with a dropper. The dropper didn't work very well so I just rubbed the dropper all over my face/neck and then used my fingers to tap it into my skin. The serum is a little thick but I just put a few drops in different areas of my face. Even though it looks thick a little goes a long ways and it feels light on your skin. This serum has a beautiful texture, it's milky white and glides on smoothly. It feels cool and refreshing on my skin. After applying it absorbs into my skin quickly. It doesn't feel greasy or tacky on my skin. This serum feels so hydrating and it has brightened my skin complexion. I can see a noticeable difference on my cheeks. This has reduced my dark spots on my skin. I'm absolutely thrilled. I had sun spots that looked like freckles and some of them have disappeared. When I tell you I'm jumping up and down with excitement, believe me I am. Nothing has worked to help me with skin discoloration like this product has. I've been using this once in the morning and also in the evening after I wash and cleanse my skin. I saw results within the first week of using it. I recommend this product for all skin types. I have combination skin and I'm loving the results. I never had any irritation or break out because of this product.

More dark spots than I started with!
This destroyed my skin and left me with more dark spots than I started with. I thought slurging on this product would help my skin but I ended up needing many appointments to the dermatologist to try and remedy the reaction I had to it.

Not totally impressed
I’ve been using this for at least four weeks and have not really noticed a difference in dark spots getting lighter. I’ve noticed a different in that skin looks smoother, but not helpful with the dark spots.
