A: Suction power does not always equate to better cleaning. Suction is only one factor in a complex cleaning equation that includes agitation, type of debris, air path, sealing, etc. You will not find numerical measurements for suction power on Roomba models.

A: Hello Steff, All Roombas are equipped with cliff sensors on the underside which detect if it's near a ledge, stair or any other drop off. They measure the distance between the robot and the floor, by constantly sending infrared signals to the surface. If the signal doesn't bounce back immediately, the vacuum cleaner detects that it has reached a stair or a steep drop.

Not efficient
Honestly just not that efficient. It takes a really long time to finish vacuuming (I live in an apartment) and the map it follows just doesn’t make sense. It always misses a spot too. Not terrible but I can get a better clean by vacuuming myself and it’d be done much quicker. Okay product not worth $400+.

Only Lasted a Little Over One Year
I bought this 15 months ago and it no longer works. It just stays in one location and spins in circles. I use it 2 times each month and paid nearly $500 for this and feel it should have lasted longer. Not happy with this product.

Busy house, spotless home!!
I love that it cleans for me all day, every day! I don't expect it to do the heavy-duty cleaning as a plug-in, hand-held, large capacity container vacuums. But it does basic everyday pick-up of dust and hair that I need it to do. It leaves beautiful patterns on my rug and for my hard floors I love that I can just do the mopping for the day and I'm done. I feel like vacuuming is more time consuming that mopping anyhow. I never really use the mop feature on this model because I can handle the mopping aspect of house cleaning. Plus I feel like the mop feature sometimes gets the rugs wets when it needs to pass by. Overall, I love this robot!

It lasted less than 5 months
At first I was happy with this product, It cleaned the areas well, without leaving dust but that lasted for me about 4 months, now it only advances a few inches, it stops, it says error and begins to spin without cleaning absolutely anything, I already cleaned it and replaced parts and that didn't help either. It's broken.

The Jury is still out! So far the Robot
The robot has not managed to complete our home as of yet. Granted we still have lots of obstacles out in the way. We are still moving furniture and other items. Our bag is full and it's nearly impossible to empty it. They should have a zipper to clean the bag with, as it is a 1" hole is a bad design.

No I will not buy this again I will be returning it.
The roomba gets stuck on everything (chairs, tables and rugs) and never finishes the job I have to take out the broom and finish the job the same for the wet mop. I will be returning it.
