Great ROBOT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im testing a unit and so far the only snags ive come across is that it doesnt pick up pet hair on my area rug in the living room and it completely avoids the guest bathroom.Otherwise i love it! It picks up alot of dirt daily and saves me so much time. My floors actually look better since i started using the robot..

Tech issues
Worked great for 3 weeks. Now it won't communicate with the app. The app is very hard to navigate (basically, if you start having problems you have to do a full factory reset to do something as simple as change the wifi network). I could have just mopped and vacuumed myself in the time I have spent trying to solve this.

Awful
This product is a huge headache for me. I replaced my Samsung robovac with this and I want to return it. It has been about a month and I’ve had to remap the apartment 10times. It doesnt allow you to set more than 2 cleans a day (for anyone with pets this is absurd), and the mop+vacuum setting is worthless - it will only mop or only vacuum. The longest run it’s had is 15minutes before it returns to the base and it has barely done anything. I’m freaking over it!

Great idea, poor execution
It’s easy to set up, but it’s not a great vacuum. It doesn’t pick up all the dust and has issues returning to the dock. I have to pick it up every day and put it on the dock, and it stops randomly during cleans. We have issue after issue, so I’m returning it.

Great advertisement
I’ve had this since it 1st came out. All they do is push dog hair around. When it’s done I have to vacuum up the dog hair.

Great Idea, Poor Execution
Setup was super easy — the mapping setup ran smoothly, and I thought I’d found my new favorite gadget. But once I started using it, the flaws really showed. It doesn’t pick up very well. It leaves behind light stuff like tissue pieces, fluff balls of dog hair, and even tiny bits of dog food. I shouldn’t have to vacuum again after the robot finishes. Editing the map is so frustrating. Merging or splitting rooms takes several tries, and you can’t move the split line once it’s made. For something that’s supposed to be “smart,” it’s way too clunky. The mop + vacuum mode only works if you clean the entire house. My home’s about 2,100 sq ft — it takes all day because it has to go base to recharge. So I want to clean half house at a time, you can't select mop + vacuum mode when selecting specific rooms. The spot clean feature is also really limited. You can’t create your own clean zones — it just does a small square area. My kitchen is big and open, and I just want to clean around the sink, stove, and fridge after dinner. So the spot clean is unless to me and I have to select the kitchen room and move all the chairs and stools and clean the entire kitchen zone. Super inconvenient. Overall, great idea but poor execution. Weak suction, glitchy app, and limited cleaning options make it hard to recommend.

Smears poop great!
I can’t figure out how to cancel a scheduled cleaning. Should be easy! Plus this thing will not just run over dog poop, it will drag and smear it Everywhere!! I’m replacing carpet for hardwood thanks to this dumb thing!

I have owned this version the robot vacuums for about 6 months now. It looks nice and vacuums ok. But the mop and base are terribly designed. A step up from some of the previous versions. I use the shark cleaning fluid and there are two line behind the robot on the floor after the mop goes over than never seem to go away, no matter what mop heads I have tried. While you are able to wipe out some of the dirt from the bottom of the base, it does not come apart to actually really clean it. Also, I don’t think the lite stream of air that blows from the base onto the mop pad is really doing anything but making it more acceptable for gems to get on. Everyone knows heat kill germs. So this must of been a rush job to get something new out. The brush that moves back and forth to clean the mop head is not removable, so you are moving the gems back and forth between the cleaner and mop head. I see they now have one that has heat and a dryer. These are things their comparable competitors have had for a while. Save your money and get the new one, or a competitors that already have this stuff figured out for around the same price or cheaper.

Kind of disappointed
I bought this vacuum/mop about 2 month ago because i heard good things about the shark robot vacuums but im not impressed. My regular shark vacuum works way better. For the price I honestly expected way better

Unusable
Unfortunately it just doesn't work. It gets lost, despite having mapped out the home, it somehow can find its way back to the dock and even gets distracted (it'll say its going back to the doc but decides to keep going in circles in a room. It slams into EVERYTHING. And the app just doesn't work. I'm supposed to be able to schedule rooms and times... decides to do its own thing. The buttons are grayed out and won't allow me to control the robot. It goes to the dock and says it'll resume where it left off as soon as its charged... reached 100% and still wouldn't allow me to activate it. Finally, it goes so... miserably slow... drains the battery fast and takes a lifetime to charge up. Should've bought a different robot....

I bought this product 1 year ago and I am so glad I did. It’s is wonderful. Easy setup. Easy to use. Robot does great with vacuuming and I use it every other day. The mopping function is good but I prefer to self mop. This product definitely decreases my daily chores. I am pleased. I have not been disappointed yet with any of the Shark products. I mostly purchase when items go on sale!

Amazing vacuum
This vacuum is amazing. I’ve had 3 highly rated robot vacuums before this one. Two quit working (after years) & one still works. This is the hands down best at mapping, going over thresholds, avoiding objects and actually cleaning. It cleans all the way to the baseboards. My previous vacuums missed anything along baseboards which was frustrating. My home is all luxury vinyl and hardwood flooring. There are rugs, etc. This vacuum cleans it all & so well. I have not used the mop yet. I have only had this machine about 2 weeks but I’m sure the mop will be great also. I feel like my floors are so clean after running the vac. It is rather expensive but well worth it. I bought it for 1/2 price I believe on sale which is what I would recommend doing in today’s economy.

The best money I’ve ever spent
I live and die by this robot vacuum! I’ve had a Shark robot for years and when I moved I didn’t hesitate to get a new one to meet my needs. This thing works beautifully! I also love the app integration so I get reminders for both of my robots when they need attention. I’ll never live without one of these!
