Easy to install. Holds the pictures well.

Does not work like they claim. When trying to press into wall the hook bends and just makes a mark on the wall. Terrible

I've use competitors "claw" like picture hangers in the past... and from an end result, the 3M Claw is just as effective as theirs. I DO like the position marking method used on the 3M Claw but grew frustrated with trying to take off the protective paper from the 'white' side of the position marker. It took a long time to take that paper off and both my wife and I grew very frustrated.

Spot marker adhesive is not effective, particularly for picture frames which do not have a completely flat backside surface. Followed instructions, but my marker kept falling off the wall and frame. However, the claw itself seems to work well as an easy-to-use hanger, but I would only trust it for small, light frames.

Surprisingly very sturdy and easy to use!

Strong and works! We needed hooks to hold up some of the boards from our Lovevery kits (weather, week planner, to do’s). We tried several different types of command hooks but they were all either too weak for the weight, or the hook itself was too thick. These were perfect for the task and quick to install. It should be noted that at least on our drywall, I wasn’t able to push them all the way in with my fingers - I needed to carefully use a hammer on the sides of each (the hook bent in a little when I missed the side, but I was able to pry it back out with the back of the hammer so it still could be used). Now that they’re in, they’re working perfectly!

Like- The “Claws” it self. Easy, steady and strong Less Like- “Markers”, not that easy to use with not flat surface hook ( like hanging light metal frames with hooks on thin metal pipes) or may be I’m not skilled enough :p

We just bought a new house and I had to hang a lot of mirrors and pictures I’m not all that handy with tools, but this product is absolutely, amazing and easy for the occasional do it yourself weekend warrior.

I hate trying to hang photos … but 3M has solved my distress with an easy, effective method that minimizes damage to our wallls!

I am so happy to find something that works for a change. I'm so tired of my pictures falling down and breaking when I use those sticky hooks

This 3M 7kg CLAW Drywall Picture Hanger is wonderful. My husband doesn't like hanging anything on the walls, so he always puts it off forever. Using this allowed me to choose any spot in the house, line it up and then push it in, DONE! Have been in the house for 20 years and now have something on the wall. It doesn't require a stud or any tools. Just a push with my thumbs and its done. So easy and convenient. Five pack is best value (but should come in even number packs), now my actual favourite household item!

I got my 15lb claws in the mail today. I used 2 of them to hang up a large white board calendar. I couldn’t be happier, it took less then 3 minutes to put up two items. This is a game changer in decorating my home

I bought these to hang a gallery of family photos. These made easy work of hanging a variety of sized frames. I used A LOT and still need more. I was able to reuse the spot markers for several photos and now have about 20 unused little foam arrows floating around. I wish there were a way to buy these in bulk, without or with fewer spot markers. It's such a waste. I took off a star because of the lack of packaging size options and wasteful packaging.

Didnt try holding anything with a lot of weight, just decor in my daughter's room, so I can't attest to it's strength. But did it's job for what I needed. Would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really hope people realize they no longer need to take out the nails, hammer, stud finders & etc. to hang a picture frame. Since I discovered Command hooks & their products, I've been a fan. Recently these CLAW hooks came up for me to try in exchange for my thoughts. (Yes please!) They are ingenious little things that make the hassle of hanging a frame the thing of the past. Just stick your Spot Marker on the back of your frame (near the hook place) then put it again the wall where you want it to hang. Take away the frame to find the sticker where you can put a little pencil mark to help you stick the CLAW in just the right spot. Put the CLAW up against the wall, lining up the dot to the little triangle indent on the CLAW and then push it in. The only additional tool you MAY need (if you are horrible at putting things leveled) is your phone. Using the Measure app on my iphone (comes with all iphones) use the Level feature & lean it on the top of the hook for a perfect level. Then push to install the CLAW into your wall. I've use it to hang things up to the max pounds & have not had any issues. I won't go past it though. They have found other ones that hold up to 25 & 45lbs... but have not tried those yet.
