Q: The pump is hard to unscrew from the cap when it's first put into use. The inner portion of the cap spins around with the pump lever -- I need to use a a pliers to hold it

You can often bypass needing pliers by tightening the entire main cap completely onto the bottle first to create friction, then holding the stationary inner stem with a rubber glove or washcloth for extra grip while you twist the pump lever to the open position.     Weird Bottle

    My review has absolutely nothing to do with the product itself (smell is nice, lathers well), but rather with the bottle! It is an upright bottle with the opening at the top, each time you set it down after use, it slowly comes up from the top and leaves not only the bottle, but whatever surface it’s on, a total mess. I actually had a morning routine with this soap of washing the bottle and my shower ledge off (before using the soap for its intended use) things I never thought I’d say!
