HoMedics Shiatsu Electric Massage Cushion

These massage units like anything made these days are hit or miss as far as getting a unit that is not super noisy. This unit was noisy at lower back which takes away from the relaxation. Our last unit and the unit we bought for our daughter from same Homedics did not.

Cheap massager but you get what you pay for. Will be returning

Stopped working after a month. Blue light just flashes now.

My son gave me one of these 20 years ago and it still works great. After all this time, and use, the heat no longer works but everything else is wonderful. I love this massager.

Does a great job on lower back area,I wish the upper back area was more effective,can barely feel it. The heat element is lovely on cold days.Glad i bought and enjoy using this massager.

This is a basic model just what I was looking for! I did not want vibration nor music. I had another homectics similar to this model lasted for years and I USE it every am! The heat is wonderful

I just bought this product today and I got it home and used it for about 20 minutes and then all of a sudden it just stopped working and the control panel light just started blinking. I have unplugged it several times and pushed the buttons together and just about everything you can think of to do i did it and still nothing.... I am beyond sad about this situation...

The massage fells great and the heat option is not overwhelming. The noise it makes can be a bit dstracting so I wouldn't use it if I need to really focus. If you have a bigger chair you can't set the top straps because the are super short and you really need to lean in to get it on you shoulders.

I have lower back pain and this product has helped relieve my pain. I love how easy it is to use you simply strap it to the back of your chair and plug into outlet. I would definitely recommend trying this out.

It fits before you on my couch and the cushion is very comfy. I would recommend if you’re in need of something quick and easy. The heated roller does get the blood flowing well.

The cushion is a good enough size and weight to pretty much put in all sorts of places, from an extra large recliner to a kitchen table chair (or laid out on the sofa!). The different massage settings are fun to try out, though I wish there was a way you could really personalize a particular setting. But the preset ones still are great to experiment with. The heat from this is really well done, normally the heat in these cushions get uncomfortably sharp and hot (and not centralized like I like), but it's extremely comfortable and evenly distributed throughout. Depending on which setting you try, most tend to rotate very deep and intense in the middle back for me. It's okay, but I ended up trying the ones focused on the upper back and these are amplified a hundred times if you choose to place this in a recliner! But this is several steps of an improvement than another massage cushion I used to have from Homedics, definitely recommended!

I work as a nurse and my body is so sore after work, the constant bending and being on my feet all day, my back and hips hurt afterwards. Now when I get home, I sit and unwind with this cushion. The heat is wonderful and helps calm every muscle, then add the massage feature and all your worries go away! Seriously it like have a massage every single night! It is the best addition to my evening

The massage cushion is easy to use when placed on an upright chair and even on a lazy boy. It’s lightweight and easy to move around if you would like to use it around the house in different rooms. The heat from the massage cushion is just right, it doesn’t get overly hot. The cushion has 3 massage zones (lower, middle and upper back) to use for your desired pleasure. Overall we like using it in the evening after a lot of movement during the day to relax and help soothe our aching muscles in our back. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

This also has a heating feature that really helps my back pain and relaxes my body. It focuses on upper back, lower back and full back massages. It’s very relaxing and releases so much tension that builds from sitting at a desk all day. 10/10

I have used a few different massagers but this is the best one I have yet to use. The heat with the different massage options makes this great. I get to sit in my favorite chair when I get off relax and enjoy this hitting all my sore spots. This actually digs deep which I love. After I’m done I feel loosened up and refreshed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shiatsu Massage Cushion with Heat is so awesome! At first I wasn’t sure about it, it kinda hurt. But, I continued on, and that is when I couldn’t get enough of it. It was hitting spots I didn’t even know were in need of a massage. I think I sat in the massage cushion for at least four cycles, it just felt so good. That night my back felt bruised and hurt some, just like a real deep tissue massage. But let me tell you, I was not stiff at all the next day. I could move so freely and couldn’t wait to use it again. My elderly mother even loved it, and she too sat in it for at least an hour and now she wants me to order her one. The Shiatsu Massage Cushion is so awesome! If you are at all sensitive I would take it easy in the beginning and work your way up to more time daily. The buttons are very easy to reach and to push, you have a few options to choose from. You can choose from whole back, top, bottom and heat or no heat. The heat was just right and also felt very nice with the massage. It has hook and loop straps to secure it to a chair. I used it on our recliner chair without using the straps, it worked just fine.
