Toddleroo by North States Quick-Fit Oval Mesh Gate

I recieved this gate for free in exchange for my honest review and I had such an issue setting it up. It didnt want to stay sturdy in between the walls and it was such a pain it the butt to keep taking down to walk through. I'd definitely recommend for somewhere where you dont need to keep walking through... and a place where the walls are level.

This is a decent gate, but only on two conditions: you need a budget option AND you know the ONE place you'll ever put the gate. Oh, and you don't plan to go through the entryway anytime when the gate is up. Seriously, for the money, if you just need a gate for a certain spot on a rare occasion (grandparents, for example), I'd recommend it. If you're needing a gate for kids in your home (parents), get a walk-through gate that allows you to relocate it. First, the gate is good build quality, and the quick-fit mechanism works great. It's certainly a step-up from the traditional wood gate slide mechanism. However, it's still annoying picking the gate up and down every time you want to pass by. Our biggest issue is the "non-scuff feet" that go on the wall. They stick (rather than drill) into place, and we tried to relocate the gate at one point, and the foot literally took off drywall! Not just paint, but the drywall. We've never had a gate's foot do more than scuff the paint, but this tore up our wall. We have four children and five gates (stairs & different rooms), and this is the only gate we've had an issue like this from. Overall, I can't recommend this gate unless you just need a budget option - but even then, there may be other better options.

This is a sturdy gate that's easy to install. It expands to fit a variety of doorways. It is easy to adjust and get just the right fit. There are safety brackets you can install in order to ensure that your child does not pull the gate over. It is lightweight and easy to move out of the way if necessary. This helps keep my toddler contained without me having to constantly chase after him.

This Gate is Super Nice, Solid Construction. It really seems made to last a while!! It is a quick fit oval mesh gate that comes with wall cups to adhere to the surface or door frame where your gate will be and it is So Easy to do. The instructions are in large easy to read directions right on the box.

This baby gate works great for keeping baby out of areas like kitchen or front door area. My baby likes to watch me cook and tries to help do dishes. That's not safe when the oven is on or knives in the dishwasher. The gate is easy to set up and take down. There's is a light weight durable feel to it. It's thin enough to fit on the side of fridge for easy storage. It's strong enough to hold the baby up when standing. The little hole design is a nice touch also.

Great.. I am very much satisfied with child gate. Quality of the product is very nice. We have been using it for quite sometime without any issue. I highly recommend this product. Workmanship and the quality is outstanding.

This gate half inch has preset fittings as you can see in my pictures. If you do not have doorways that are inch or half inch openings, like me, then this gate will not work for you. The gate is easy to use, however, that doesn't matter if it does not fit.

This gate is a lifesaver… Being able to block off certain areas of your house from your little is a breeze with this gate. It’s easy to attach and take down when not needed and you don’t have to worry about your baby going in a certain room when your cleaning or etc

Very easy to assemble and use, easy to put up for the top of the steps or the bottom I can also close my bedroom door with a gate. Nice material which matches my decor. Very easy to remove and put up if not in use.

The quick-fit gate was very difficult for me to use compared to other gates I have. The hold and slide function of the lock was tough to maneuver and find a place where the gate fit really securely on the wall. I feel like there are other gates out there that are easier to install and more sturdy to keep the toddlers in or out.

Got this to keep the kids downstairs while my husband is trying to sleep after working Night Shift. I like the oval patterns and it’s easy to put up and take down. It took me a second to figure out how to change the width but you just push down on the bar and make sure the width you want is in the window. The first time was stiff but easier after that. Very happy with this gate.

To start, the instructions are just what is printed on the box, there’s nothing additional inside the box. So if you aren’t someone who has spent a lot of time around baby gates, the instructions are not very clear. I couldn’t not figure out how to use this. I somewhat managed to get it in the doorway but quickly realized my son just wanted to play on it, and it wasn’t sturdy. Eventually I found a video online that made a little more sense and I attempted to install it correctly. The minute I went to put it in the doorway, a piece fell off on the bottom (the wood just cracked and broke) and it’s now useless.

We received this product as part of the hey bullseye program, in exchange for our honest review. I initially tried to set this up, to separate our toddlers from the dog. Apparently, i didn't feel the need to read the instructions, couldn't lift the bar up, so gave up, and put it back in the box. Told my husband and he takes it out, read the directions and yes, the bar does have to go up. He was able to pull it up, then it went up pretty simply!🤦‍♀️ It kinda sticks and is very difficult to pull apart, so don't give up and you won't break it, but like traditional ones, it does raise! I really like it now that i know how to use it! The push button thingy keeps it "together" so it doesn't flop apart and you won't loose the spot that it fits in for your area! It's sturdy! The only downfall, is if you're using it for a pet, it's pretty short, we have a schnauzer, so not a problem, but a bigger dog can probably jump right over it!

Perfect gate for your little one. Fits and adjusts anywhere. Its mesh and is very soft and safe. Very easy to install and setup with no problems. Has wall cups that come with it also. Has super smooth wood border. Very good quality and material. I truly do recommend this product to everyone. I absolutely love it.

This baby gate is perfect for what I need to keep the animals and kids separated. It comes with everything you need including the rubber doorstops to put in the doorway so that nobody can push through it. The gate is super easy to install and it is so easy to adjust for any size door that you need. The mesh is quite flexible so there is some give and take if something decides to try and push up against it. It is very durable and strong. You can even paint it if you would like with the plain wood coloring. I like that you can still see through it quite a bit so that I can see what is on the other side. Ideal for many uses and functions. The white mesh is easy to wipe clean.

The oval pattern is the only thing I really liked about this gate. I thought it was nice looking and a bit more modern. Overall, I found this baby/toddler gate to be not easy to use. It did not slide easily to fit into place. The design seems flimsy and it is really short compared to other baby gates I have used in the past. I don't think I could recommend this product. I know it would not keep my kids in place very well.

Nice material and washes up well. Durable and comfortable on the skin. Breathable material and stain resistant. Very nice and looks expensive. Great product and makes a nice gift for anyone that has a toddler!

Overall appealing, nice fit/size, like the up/down locking mechanism gave it 4 stars because locking could be better,/ not particularly crazy bout slide use, does what its suppose to do.

Quick fit oval mesh gate is perfect for apartment or houses that do not want damage the walls but want little ones to be safe in their home or grandparents. It come in a mix of ivory and natural wood color. It was easy to put in place and make for 6 - 24 months old also you must install wall cups so the little ones can't escape.
