We have only been using this cup for less than 3weeks, but I have liked it so far. My 6yo is a bouncy kid, so after they knocked their Owala over like 5times in one day at school I knew I needed to change their cup to help the teacher. They like this cup and said their water is super cold all day. No spills or leaks in their backpack. A hard plastic spout would be nice. My kids always chew the heck out of the soft plastic ones. lol

I realized after we bought it that the straw component doesn’t come totally out for cleaning. This will be a breeding ground for mold. Googled it to find a post about it from another mom showing all the mold collection. Going to return it. Plus it doesn’t fit in the car seat cup holder... which I was willing to live with if it came apart like the funtainer.

I really like the concept of these bottles, I love the stainless steel which keeps water very cold, they are truly leak-proof UNTIL the latch breaks after a few months. At first we thought it was due to rough handling from our toddler but this time the bottle was not dropped or banged around and it still broke. It's really disappointing.

This is the 2nd Zak water bottle we've purchased. After almost a year the 1st one stared to leak. Figured the o-ring on the lid was going bad. Replaced with this one and 1st use we noticed it leaking. The spout straw is also difficult to clean. Will be replacing with a different brand.
