    These tongs do not last long. They break after only a few weeks and the gold finish completely washes off. I purchased a second one hoping maybe my first was defective, I was wrong. Save your money and just purchase different ones.

    item was out of stock at the store so I had to have it shipped. shipping took much longer than promised. when I finally received it it was filthy. this is exceptionally disgusting due to it being a kitchen utensil intended for use on food. this also speaks volumes in regards to how much target cares about their customers or even their own reputation. It should be standard procedure to not fulfill a customer's order with damaged or filthy product.

    Has one weakness.

    I purchased these tongs one year and a week ago. The quality of the silicone and the metal are good. The only weakness is the rivet on the fulcrum. After locking and unlocking the tongs so many times, the rivet wears out and is about the fall off. I guess it’s good enough for the price it was.

    Good for a year only

    We live these tongs and have them in all the colors. But, at 1 year, they are beginning to break and rust. I’m super disappointed. The pin is apparently not made of a strong material and snapped.
