  • A: Mine too, I resolved the issue. When you pull out the filter you'll see in the middle there is an area you can pinch together to pull out the inner filter. Clean it well and it'll work normal again.

  • A: Pull out the orange filter and then inside the canister where all the dirt goes into, push open the rubber tab where the dirt comes into and that’s where the clog is. Guaranteed because after cleaning everything I found it and there was tons of stuff and it worked

short battery life

NOTE: The vacuum itself works well - if the battery issue (described below) is fixed, I’d rate it 4/5 stars. I purchased this vacuum and enjoyed it for a few days before the battery died. I was unable to get it to charge, and I assumed it was just a defective product, so I opted to exchange the vacuum for a new one. After a month or so of using the new vacuum, the same thing happened. I tried finding a replacement battery that was compatible, with no success. I also checked the Sharper Image website and it specifically said they could not assist with products purchased at a retail store. I paid for the extended warranty, but was told that I would first have to contact the manufacturer because it was <12 months since the date of purchase. Sharper Image is NOT the manufacturer, and while I was able to find the name of the manufacturer in the instruction booklet, I was unable to locate the manufacturer’s phone number. Finally, I opted to return the vacuum to the store. Because it had been >30 days since the date of purchase, I was given store credit. Shout-out to Target for their amazing customer service!

loved the vacuum for roughly 3 weeks, finally found a vacuum with different levels for different textured rugs, but then — battery totally died and won’t charge. can’t find a replacement battery anywhere. seems to be a common issue and can’t contact anyone about it. if that wasn’t a problem it’d be 10/10.

I’m so glad I gave this vacuum a chance! I almost didn’t buy it because of some of the reviews, but I’m so happy I decided to try it for myself. It is super efficient and the suction power is bananas - way stronger than I expected! It picks up everything with ease and makes my cleanups quick and painless. Did I mention how lightweight and easy to maneuver it is?! I actually look forward to vacuuming now (never thought I’d say that!).It’s honestly made my cleaning life so much better. If you’re on the fence, don’t let the negative reviews scare you off - this vacuum delivers!! I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot!

Broke and no customer service

I had this vacuum for about 6 months before the head piece stopped working and started making awful noises. Tried to take it apart and it doesn’t even look like it was built to be seeded properly in place. I would love to be able to replace the head or get it fixed but there is no contact information for this company to do anything about it. I love this vacuum when it worked but I would not recommend purchasing.

If you have hair longer than shoulder-length, this vacuum may not be for you. Within just two weeks of use, my hair got tangled in the brush axle, causing the brush to stop spinning entirely. The vacuum is now unusable, and I'm out over $200. The only reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one is because the motor itself is powerful—unfortunately, that doesn’t matter if the brush won’t spin.

I purchased this in December and unfortunately it’s May and it has already stopped working. I’m not sure if it’s clogged or what’s happening, but it’s making a horrible sound and it was not worth the amount of money I spent on it.

This thing sucks and not in the funny haha vaccum pun way. Have had for 6 months and now sounds like a chainsaw when running, brush will intermittenly stop spinning and charge, what charge? Not sure if the one I have is defective but if this is how they all are this is a crime for this price.
