I received this for free to test out in exchange for an honest review, so here is my honest thoughts. This product works, I won’t lie about it, I’m not huge on dry shampoo but when it’s needed and it did the job. HOWEVER the smell was too overpowering. It smelled for hours very strongly, the scent didn’t really fade much and it gave me a headache, I couldn’t wait to get back home and wash my hair tbh. I’m not sensitive to scents so this was surprising because I have everything scented, but it was just not doable. It smelled good and I thought it would fade into something lighter as the day went by, but that smell kept hitting me and gave me a big headache. It’s a no for me.

Both products work really well, but I just couldn't get past the smell of the dry shampoo when sprayed. It didn't smell anything like the regular shampoo. I don't know if it's because when I had received the product, the cap had come off and some of it sprayed out in the box in transit, or if just the propellant is that strong and what smells so bad. It's a shame because I thought the product itself was really good, but every time I spray it, the smell makes me queasy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can see the concept in this brand; it is clean, cruelty-free, vegan, and formulated without SLS/SLES, silicones, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, or mineral oils. Even better, there is no benzene in this dry shampoo. Each product is made in the USA using globally sourced ingredients and components to ensure the highest quality standard. The can is made from 99.7% aluminum. I like the Amber Vanilla scent which is not as strong as the shampoo/mask combination of the other scent (I was sent this one to test and review). It is lightly floral with a hint of vanilla. Normally, I find vanilla to be overpowering, but not in this dry shampoo. I am not sure about the effectiveness of this dry shampoo. I shook it well, held my breath, and sprayed at my roots 8-10 inches away as instructed. The direction should quantify how much I need. So, I sprayed, adjusted my hair, and sprayed. I felt that I used a lot for one application. If there was a measurable amount or information about the minimum usage per can, I would feel better about this product. However, I do feel more confident about styling my hair after days without wash. I could easily socialize with others after using this dry shampoo. I just don't know how long this can will last.

It's a luxurious/sophisticated aroma, and it's almost as if I'm putting perfume on my hair. I thought it would leave a white, sticky residue on my hair, but surprisingly it did not. It's very easy to apply. I like the size of, colors, and design on the container itself. I didn't have any issues when spraying it. If you are a fan of dry shampoo or if this brand, I recommend it 100%.
