Did not even unroll : poor shipping/quality control?

I didn’t even unroll it because of the poor shipping/packaging. One end of the rug was open, exposed and had black greasy substance on the edge rug banding like it was drug across a floor or something :( i’m trying to decide if I should return it and try again or just return it and get another rug
