    Good product. Very happy!!!

    So far so good had it for a month now i love it. Using the zipper ointment once a week definitely recommended makes it easier to open and close.

    Great buy

    Large opening makes finding what you are looking for easy. We used our 48 can backpack cooler as a carry on bag for the airplane and had no problem. Stacked it with frozen fish for the return flight.

    Exactly what I expected

    Using it to double as our ditch bag in sailboat. Keeps passports and papers dry. Floats which is awesome. Love the extra waterproof outer compartments.

    Not great

    Only partially functional after six months. I used it daily as a lunchbox/drink cooler. Might have better lifespan if not used often. In my case the square shape and dainty plastic zipper make for a weak spot. The zipper lubricant works temporarily but in some spots the zipper is too far gone and simply doesn’t not zip together anymore. It’s a really decent cooler but not a good backpack unfortunately. Would avoid buying this one….

    Backpack cooler

    Bought this as a gift for my son in law. So far he loves it. It is his 2nd backpack cooler from RTIC. The zipper broke on the old one after years of use.

    Saved my fishing trip

    This cooler saved our fishing trip! When I ordered the cooler I included two of the gel packs as well. We live in Florida and flew to Oregon for a salmon fishing trip. The fishing was a blast we had 45lbs of fresh to fly back with. We followed the pre chill instructions to the T. The backpack design was extremely nice and made it a lot easier to travel through the airport with. Well as fate would have it the airport to lost our cooler and it never made it onto the connecting flight. So 48 hrs after packing the cooler with frozen fish and two ice pack it finally arrived to our airport a day late. I was expecting the fish to be spoiled and to my shock it was still frozen thus saving the trip.

    Good and bad

    The backpack cooler only keeps things really cold for an hour and a half. By hour 3 all of your ice has melted and after that it's lukewarm. The backpack sits very high, so you don't want to have to hike with it very far
