A: The speaker has an IP67 rating which will protect it from splashes of water and being submerged in water for short periods. Please be aware that long term use in a steamy environment is not recommended.

Whoosh! Amazing speakers - two in stereo 'tandem' will cope with any location you need - large hall to small intimate dining room! Their robustness hides their incredible 'fidelity' - don't expect these to last less than your lifetime. Yes they are Bose quality - but their design, sound and practicality are still outstanding. They've made the 'stereo' linking more logical and with two buttons presses you're away! If music is your premier media - as it is with me (and my sax contribution to a Concert Band!) - you'll have these speakers on eternal loop!

I bought a couple of different brand speakers but the sound wasn’t crisp and they didn’t work right if stay wirelessly connected. I’ve always had Bose equipment but this was for my pool area and was concerned it would get ruined by the water. After returning the failed items I purchased my Bose SoundLink Max speaker in blue and have never looked back. The sound is crisp and clear, it stays connected and never cuts out, it’s been a wonderful addition to our pool area letting us enjoy music with a lower volume due to its crisp clear sound. I should have bought this little joyful speaker first, I won’t make that mistake again! I followed up this purchase with new open earbuds! Bose is and always will be first in quality.

Whether I’m listening to music or podcasts, the voice clarity is flawless and incredibly detailed. What really sets this speaker apart is the battery life — it’s nothing short of incredible. Sound and build quality is great, easy to carry around but still have battery drain during power off and not in use as many people complain. Is that a design and engineering failure or software bug. Hopefully resolve in next firmware update!

I brought this to replace a speaker I have owned for a few years, it has just shown me that other speakers just don’t sound right, the pure sound allows me to hear music like it is supposed to be heard, it fills my bungalow and garden with a great sound and I can hear parts of songs o have never heard before

Got it about a month ago. Have casually used it once in a while around the house and once for a few hours at a get together. The sound quality is great. Puts out some bass which is a nice surprise for such a small speaker. My only complaint so far is that the other day when I turned it in the speaker said it was at 60%. I used it for a few hours and it still said it was at 60%. I charged it for hours, still 60%. I looked online how to do a reset on the speaker by holding the - and + volume buttons for 15sec. Reset unit. Still 60%. So I’m not sure what the deal is. It works, but it would be nice to know if in fact the batteries are only holding 60% charge of if there something else faulty going on with it. Disappointing.

Please bear in mind that Battery run-time depends on what type of audio being played and the volume at which it is being played. Playback time may be reduced by several hours when the product is used continuously at a high volume level while streaming audio over Bluetooth. High intensity, heavy rock music, or music with a lot of bass will consume more power at a high volume level.
