Pacifica Surf Lash Mascara - 0.24oz: Paraben-Free, Silicone-Free, Phthalate-Free, Contains Jojoba Oil

I purchased this mascara after over 10 years of supporting Pacifica's products. I adore everything they make and I'm devastated that this particular product is so terrible. While it is most certainly waterproof, it will NOT come off. I used makeup removers (both oil based and not). It took a week to get 80% of it off. And I had to stop trying to get the other 20% of it off because my eye started BLEEDING! And I was incredibly gentle with the removal process. I agree with the other reviewers here and it is very hard to get off of your skin or anything else it gets on. The wand is weird but it did make my eyelashes look good for the first few hours. As the week went on, my plethora of eyelashes clumped together into 3 clumps along each eye. I'll never put this on my eyes again and can't believe I gave it a second chance application (I've put it on twice to make sure it wasn't a *me* thing). On top of that, I wrote a very kind message to the company to let them know about what the product did to me and that it physically harmed me and the reply was "how to remove it" and how much "she loves" the product. How is that a reply to someone who was physically harmed by your product? I'm incredibly disappointed by all of this because Pacifica is my go-to for makeup.

The wand is a bad twisted shape that doesn't allow for even application. Also the formula too waterproof compared to Aquarian gaze.

Surf Lash mascara - when applying if you get any little smudge on your skin it is very challenging to get off. Doesn't ever seem to dry, sneeze and now you have back smudges under your eyes that you cannot gt off. Applicator brush is fine I have used Pacifica Aquarian Gaze mascara for years and loved it , but can no longer get. Bummed.

Let me reiterate: bring back Aquarian Glaze!!! This one gets on my brow bone and under eyes yet will not budge when you try to remove it. Truly worst of both worlds! Sure, my lashes look FULL but the people buying your products are natural girlies. AG was the perfect mascara. Natural build able look, stays on, easy to remove.

This just doesn't compare. Wanted to try it because it claims to be waterproof, but I just can't. I'll be switching brands unfortunately.

Not a fan at all of this new waterproof (not) mascara. Aquarian Gaze was my day time go to. Please bring it back.

Terrible wand, clumps

the mascara is great but don't like how the brush works.

It's great for lash definition with my thin and sparse lashes however I truly prefer the other waterproof mascara and mascara wand and am disappointed that it continues to be out of stock.

Please bring back Aquarian gaze!!!! This mascara is horrid and the twisted brush make it impossible to coat lashes and make a mess. So bad!

Hard to apply, brush is bad, hard to put it on evenly. Got the hang of it, but it's not exactly buildable. It's not enough and then too much. I cried and it all came off in chunks and smears.

I loved Aquarian Glaze and used it for years. I've switched to another brand since you don't offer a comparable mascara that works for me.

This mascara does a great job staying on your skin, but horrendous job staying on your eyelashes. I can appreciate that it does not dry up and crumble all over your face, but it is not at all waterproof. The slightest bit of moisture and it transfers to the skin around your eyes and then is difficult to remove from the skin without make-up remover.

love you Pacifica but this mascara is horrid compared to Aquarian gaze, pLeASe bring that one back! nothing compares! this one's tube is nice, but the rest is impossible :(

Bring back Aquarian Gaze!!

Bought this as a replacement for the Aquarian Gaze and it's awful! The odd brush shape makes it hard to coat my fine lashes, texture is bad, the clumping is ridiculous. Please bring Aquarian Gaze back

Unfortunately, this isn't waterproof at all! And I don't love how it goes on either, it doesn't build very beautifully

Definitely not water resistant… until it’s off of your eyelashes and ON your eyelids. YIKES! What a nightmare trying to remove it! So bummed! I wanted to order my usual, Pacifica Activist Volume & Curl, but it didn’t show up when I searched it this time so ordered this instead thinking it would be good at the pool. Bummed that I wasted $16 on this instead of trying to find the other!

I love Pacifica's Aquarian Gaze mascara and have been using it for years. Tried Surf Lash and it is awful. Not waterproof, smears badly. Brush applies way too much . Have to wipe most off the brush with a Kleenex before attempting to apply. Please bring back Aquarian Gaze!!

Been an avid user of their waterproof mascara for years but they stopped making it. Tried this for 1 time and the wand is a terrible design (barely get product on your lashes) and had black undereyes after being in the sun for a bit. Absolutely horrible
