Solid wood black lamp
The lamp is solid wood, all black including the shade which is not what the picture shows. The shade has to be put together as well. It clips onto a frame and holds together with a magnet strip. Not quite round. when put together albeit nice but a bit wobbly.

Extremely cheap materials.
I wanted to love this so badly. From afar, it looks great. Up close, wood is super cheap.. the stickers that come on it for assembly purposes do not come off easily, & peel off the color… i had to sharpie in where the black was peeled off. The cord is a nuisance, sticks out way too far so it looks tacky. The light switch wiggles up & down so it makes the light bulb flicker when touched. For the price, i absolutely do not recommend.

The 3-way switch is defective on 2 lamps
Bought the first Eden Floor Lamp more than a year ago. The switch stopped working less than one year later. It was impossible to turn the lamp on, as as the switch was very tight & wouldn't move. Brightech replaced the whole lamp, as they didn't have replacement switches in stock. Upon arrival, the new switch didn't work in the middle position, as the switch was very temperamental. I live with it on either low or high, but it's difficult to get it in the high position of the 3-way bulb.

Overrated and misleading product information
I bought the Eden lamp recently. As another reviewer mentioned, the quality of the parts is not great. The wood was chipped in places. They advertise the product as Smart Home compatible but you need a smart plug (which is fine but they should make that clear) and that doesn't mean that the product is built for use with Google Home, Alexa, etc. Otherwise the lamp looks good in a corner but don't expect too much.

The lamp arrived as expected and was accurately depicted in the pictures. The only bummer, and reason for the 4 stars, was that the light bulb provided with the lamp burnt out less than 24 hours after we installed it.
