Q: Why is this advertised as 4 net carbs when it’s actually 15 per serving?

submitted by Tracey - 2 years ago
  • A: 1g of fiber & 10g of allulose

submitted byMeatandcarbs - 2 years ago

Q: Someone explain how they get to 4 net carbs??

submitted by jeniw - 1 year ago
  • A: It seems that allulose is not a sugar alcohol, but is a “rare sugar”. Allulose, monk fruit, and stevia do not act like regular sugars in the body, so they are not required to be on a nutrition label and are subtracted from total carbs to get net carbs.

submitted byAnnaRose - 8 months ago
  • A: When you are calculating carbs in foods that contain sugar alcohols (allulose), you subtract their amount along with the fiber to get the net carbs. In this case, the allulose is 10g and the fiber is 1g. So 10g plus 1g from 15g carbs is 4g net carbs. Most nutrition labels show the sugar alcohols (there are many different ones). Here they are showing them in a separate area. It is very confusing.

submitted byAnnaRose - 8 months ago

Q: In the ingredients section (adds a trivial amount of sugar) is listed several times so how can this be lableled as no sugar?

submitted by Consumer - 2 years ago
  • A: Because people get away with misleading information

submitted byCt - 2 years ago
  • A: The same reason that products are allowed to be sold in the US as trans-fat free yet still contain partially hydrogenated oils.

Q: how many servings per box? what size is a serving?

submitted by msozarks - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi there! Each box contains about 5 servings. A single serving is about 1 cup (37g).

This cereal offers a unique blend of flavors that many guests find reminiscent of their childhood favorites, such as fruit loops and cookie crisp, while being a healthier option. Guests appreciate the high protein content and low sugar, making it suitable for various dietary needs. However, some have noted issues with texture and consistency, as well as concerns about pricing and portion sizes. Overall, it provides a satisfying and guilt-free breakfast experience.

Best Tasting, High Quality Protein Cereal!

High protein, no sugar, and tastes like a healthy version of cocoa puffs! Good dry, as a crunchy sweet snack, good as a topping for low carb ice cream, or in milk. Add some stevia if you like it sweeter. It makes retro chocolate milk as a chocolate cereal too! Plus it stays crunchy in milk! A little pricey, but worth it for the quality, taste and nutritional value! 'Nuff said!

    Disgusting

What did I like? Nothing. What did I dislike? Everything. This is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. They’re like boring Cheerios covered in a chalky dust that vaguely tastes like disgusting peanuts. And it’s stupid expensive.

    Fantastic product

This is goes for the majority of the cereal, its very good. Huge supporter however I do believe there should be an extra serving or 2 per box fornthe price. I believe that would make this one of the best product's out there

    Way better than Seven Sundays

I tried Seven Sundays cereal the other day and it was super bland compared to Magic Spoon. And then found some Magic Spoon strawberry pastries in my cupboard, I'll have to eat one tomorrow, .. pretty good! Choco chip cereal is the best one but there are many good flavors and I'll have to put my next order in soon.

    Amazing

Managing both diabetes and celiac disease in a child can be incredibly challenging, so finding foods that are both safe and blood sugar–friendly is a huge relief. This cereal has been a wonderful discovery for us. Not only is it truly gluten-free and gentle on her stomach, but it also doesn’t cause the blood sugar spikes we often see with other cereals. It’s reassuring to have an option that supports her health without sacrificing taste or convenience. She enjoys it, feels good after eating it, and I feel confident serving it.

    ultra-processed reality

It's not complete junk food but it's a highly engineered food product, not a whole-food staple like eggs, Greek yogurt with berries, or plain oats..It's VERY low fiber (many varieties have 0–2g fiber per serving) Also- it's already VERY overpriced but then hou will get a bag half filled..we are being ROBBED

This unexpectedly blew me away. I did not expect this to be so good, kind of got it on a whim to finish the order. Very close to Cookie Crisp and makes a nice cereal milk.

    CEREAL HAS CHANGED

I have been buying the chocolate chip cookie cereal for awhile now. The last couple shipments I received are different in that the box of cereal comes with all the cereal adhered together in one big block. You have to break it apart to get a bowl and then by the next time you go to get cereal again, it is once more one brick. It is annoying and makes me curious as to what changed in the production process and what are we now eating?
