So love this album but one major upset is that there is no side D! It should say this in the discription because I thought my needle on my player was messed up so I was fiddling with it and I broke my needle and had to order a new needle head for my player ! So get my new needle put it in it still plays nothing so then I come to these reviews and see other ppl said same thing. So then I look up on the internet andit says there is no side D! This would have been helpful to know before I had to spend 45$ on a new needle. I would never had fiddled with my needle head if I had known this. I even yelled at my poor hubby thinking that when he flipped the record for me that he messed up the leveling of the arm ! So anyone purchasing this record side D is blank. Also sides are not labeled so when you get a side that doesn’t play anything it’s side D and it’s blank!

Defective Pressing?

Unfortunately I purchased this vinyl at the end of June. I didn’t use it until recently and realized that Femininomenon (the first track on the first disc, side A) skips. This is not my first vinyl and I’m very careful with them. I’m gutted that it is defective.

Disappointed

The pressing is cute but poor quality. There’s no track list and the “poster” is just a tiny square. You just have to go off of vibes to put music on and whatever plays plays I guess. I’ve never gotten a vinyl that had so little included.

Not a great pressing. Sounds muddy and a bit slower. I'm using a micro line stylus which can be bright and detailed. This record is just bland sounding.

Where are the tracks!

For $50, the A/B sides should be labeled and there should be tracks listed somewhere, ANYWHERE! They're not listed on the jacket/cover, the sleeves, or on the records themselves. So basically, it's roullette every time you play one. A fun little guessing game as to which songs you'll get. (This is true of all vinyl versions of this album, so it's not just a Target problem.)

Excellent album!

This pressing is gorgeous. The color is a very beautiful coraly orange with creamy marbling. Picked mine up in store and have had no issue with skipping as some have noted. Playback is crisp and the discs are very great quality. Side D is blank as this album only fills 3 sides and is on purpose.

Cute pressing

I’ve been trying to get this pressing for ages and I love it sm, but $50 for a 2LP with no tracklist, microscopic side letters and a Blank Side D, I don’t think it’s fully worth $50 but it’s a very cute vinyl pressing and if you love Chappell then I’d recommend it.

Giod music. Poorly produced vinyl

This is a review of the printing itself, not the music. I got this as a gift, unwrapped item, placed it on my record player and it immediately started skipping. Wiped the album down and tried again. Same thing. Flipped it over to side B and the skipping happened in the identical spot as side A. Returned it to Target for another copy, even exchange, super simple to do, got it home and SAME exact issue! Not cool, Target. Hoping they’ll just accept the return so I can buy it somewhere else.

No track list & side labels are microscopic

Love the album, but it unfortunately it is not a good vinyl. This isn’t through the fault of Target; this problem is with every pressing of this album. There is no track list, ANYWHERE. Not even on the gatefold or an insert. Every pressing of the album has this issue, and if I had known about it before I wouldn’t have bought it. It’s a pretty pressing, and a good album, but absolutely not worth $50. Also be aware that if you do return this, the process will be a nightmare and you will only be able to exchange it for another vinyl. If not having a track list or even being able to tell what side you’re playing is an issue for you, I’d suggest you steer clear.

Scratched with no return :(

Ugh. I hate writing bad reviews but I have tried 2 vinyls and both skip really bad on side B. Target apparently does not do refunds on vinyls (wish I knew this before I purchased). Only a merchandise credit. So buyers beware!

This "Target Exclusive" album was a gift and I was very embarrassed that the poster was damaged (bent, creased, ripped) upon opening. Fortunately the records are playing well, but I really wish the poster was in better shape.
