Banana Boat Kids' Sunscreen - 12oz/2ct: SPF 50, Whole Body, Unscented, Spray

Easy to use. Not oily. An even my most skin sensitive kids weren't irritated by the sun screen.

I brought this a few weeks ago smells awful like chemicals and meant to be for kids even adults cannot bare the smell near their faces or body, also doesn’t work at all everybody gets burnt no matter how much we apply . Awful DO NOT BUyY. Also read the other reviews and wish I did this before buying .

Buy anything else but this product. Applied liberally and frequently due to going on and out of water. Whole family burned, especially in the high exposure areas where we actually used extra and ensure coverage. Absolutely ridiculous that this product meets any standards. Can't even return for money back as we are travelling so we are out $$.

This stuff is really great for going out to work in the sun. I generally LOVE Banana Boat and this product is no different. I know this specific model is for kids, but I use it on myself and it is gentle and effective. It’s lightweight and sports a decent scent. I’ve been using this stuff for a while now and it does a great job protecting from the sun. It’s easy to apply and stays on even when sweating or swimming. However, I’m not thrilled with some of the ingredients. I wish it had a more natural, eco friendly formula with less harsh chemicals. Overall, it’s a reliable sunscreen that I trust for sun protection, but I hope they consider improving the ingredients in the future.

I got two bottles of this for a vacation and my entire family is sunburnt and in pain. Like the other reviews say, this does not work at all!! Also it smells horrendous. I thought banana 🍌 boat was supposed to smell like bananas. It smells like chemicals. We reapplied 3/4 times and it didn’t matter, take this off the shelves asap- this is extremely dangerous

I am literally burned ALL OVER. Unless you are going outside for 2 minutes and are naturally very melanin-filled, I do not recommend anything from this company. My cousin and I are currently writing this with aloe Vera on our arms and honey on our face to ease the pain. Even my other cousin, who is naturally much darker than us, got burnt! That tells you something!

I have used banana boat for years - first time using this version. I applied as per instructions and re applied every hour. My kids and I got terribly burnt ! Do not buy this product. If I had of read the reviews of this before buying I would have gone with something else - why is still on shelves if people are frying ?? Ps. Use by date is 2025. So its not that ! Pps. It also clumped when applying and had lumps on it. What's up with that???

I bought some Banana Boat Kids Sport w/ Powerstay technology sunscreen for myself and my kids to use at the pool this summer. Yesterday I used the sunscreen at the water park, applying the starting layer and reapplying every hour (supposed to be good for 80 min) I could have won a mom blog competition with how much I was reapplying and my kids and I still got burned to a crisp. Please find another product.

i used this heavily on my 3 children. their sunburn was absolutely horrendous

I purchased a 2 pack of this product at the end of April. We have been using it (and reapplying it) per the directions, and it is terrible! Both of my kids have had sunburn after sunburn! Last year and the year before we used a generic brand, and they never got sunburns with that. DO NOT BUY!

So we have twin girls an we use this an it's not that good at all. We have the 30 in lotion or whatever an it works better I'd try something else not sure what's wrong but don't work both got burnt with 2 applications not happy

We have always loved banana boat and bought it in bulk for our vacation. We used the sunscreen for two days and both of my kids burned terribly despite multiple applications. It was as if they hadn’t been sunscreened at all! I ran out to the store and bought a different brand and we will be returning all of the unopened bottles.

Got this for a family vacation and on the second day it stopped spraying . A full bottle and money wasted . Never again !

I bought this a month ago and took it on vacation. On the second day it stopped working. The bottle is full but won't spray. So frustrating. Can anyone help get this bottle to work?

No way will my daughter sit still for more than 14 seconds of sunscreen application, and this helps brilliantly. Smells great, works brilliantly both when running outside in the Texas summer or hours in the pool. A+ :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so convenient to have sunscreen on a spray scan!! I hate having to squeeze from a bottle and having your hands all sticky. It is super easy to lock and unlock as well as to use it. I also really like that its tear and sting free. My son doesn't fight me or mind when I spray it on, so that's also a plus. I highly recommend it specially if your child is into sports. It comes in handy!

Super easy to apply, just shake it and spray it, I did personally rub it in a bit in my kids but that's just my preference. The top clicks to close so there is no accidental spraying. Worked fabulously on my 8 year old son, we have used it while playing and also while swimming. He burns very easily and this did a great job protecting him. I reapplied every 80 minutes per directions and there was no redness at all! However, my 2 year old son did get some slight irritation/rash from the first application so I washed it off and it cleared up in a few days. My 2 year old son has extremely sensitive skin, so honestly this was not surprising as most things do irritate him. I will continue using it on my 8 year old, as I believe it does a far superior job protecting him from sunburn!

My husband and kids Just went to the beach last week and bought a twin pack. I did everything I was supposed to do applied more than once because my kids are very very fair skin so I had to constantly apply it. My oldest son out ever got the worst part his eyes were swollen shut even after I applied both the bottles on him for only 3 days. I just got back from the hospital this morning. My son is autistic and he is Very miserable I guess I will go back to using copper tone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always loved Banana Boat products because of the scent of them but also because they work really well and this version is just as great if not better than the others in their lineup for kids. I typically will spray my hands and then apply it to my kids face to avoid their eyes. And although I know it's not recommended to spray the face I tried it and had the kids close their eyes tight. They both did and it worked great! Neither of them complained about their eyes burning. I followed up by rubbing it in with a little extra that I sprayed onto my hands afterwards. I did it on myself first and didn't experience any issues either. Great sun screen for sure!
