Schlage Flair Antique Brass Privacy Lockset 1-3/4 inch

Their durability & quality appear to be good. The handles that were replaced had been in place for 50 years.

I was able to modify and install the handles on my own. They look great and the lever handles will be easy-to-use for my grandkids and elderly parents. We will see if these handles will last 50 years, like the original ones. Lack of time is the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing old handle which was broken by 4yr old twisting handle beyond the point of turn. Replacement was easy and quick. The only issue was one bolt did not turn all the way tight. Not wanting to strip the threads I applied a spray of wd-40 to the threads and it turned past the sticking spot with no problem. Nothing to not recommend the use of this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Attractive solid lock. But the instructions are absolutely horrible! I’m a do-it-yourselfer, and these instructions are some of the worst I’ve ever encountered. “F-Series, F-Series UL” — what does that mean to me? I never did figure out what “UL” or “CF, CS” stands for, or “OR” or “OU”. These letters/abbreviations mean nothing to me! Printing the instructions in two languages only confuses things. Maybe keep the different languages on totally separate pieces of paper?!
