The brush is safe to use, the cord is very long, and maintenance is simple. There’s nothing to adjust, and it heats up quickly and does straighten hair. However, it wasn’t my favorite. My wavy hair straightens easily, but I feel a true brush-style tool—with bristles your hair can really sink into—works better. I could see myself using this only for a quick smoothing before my flat iron. I honestly wish I could have given it 5 stars, but it just wasn’t the best product I’ve received from Influenster, and I think Remington can improve this design.

It's super easy to use, heats up quickly, and straightens hair without damaging it. It's designed with Thermaluxe Advanced Heat Technology, which ensures even heat distribution throughout the hair. The bristles are soft but effective, and don't tangle or pull. The purple color is also gorgeous and adds a pop of color to my beauty routine. My hair is VERY thick, long, slightly curly (straight sides and insanely long in the back) and it used to take me 30-40 minutes to blow dry it, then another 30-40 minutes to straighten it with a flat iron. Now I just let it dry overnight and use this straightening brush in the morning. It only takes MAYBE 15 minutes to straighten it completely. The best part is that it looks natural, not flat and lifeless like with flat irons! I absolutely LOVE this product! Makes my curly hair smooth and doesn't overheat. Easy to use (just brush through hair) and great price.

It actually hurts to use, the bristles are uncomfortable and tug at my hair instead of smoothing it. I have thick hair and it didn’t work well at all for me, but even my mom who has much thinner hair didn’t care for it either. It just doesn’t glide nicely and isn’t effective. I personally would never use it again and wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s super easy to use and perfect if you want a quick, natural-looking straight style. But if you have fine hair or not a lot of hair, the brush head is pretty big. It can feel bulky and a little hard to maneuver, especially close to the roots. I think it works best for medium to thick hair. Overall, it’s a good tool, just not the most practical for fine or very thin hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very curly hair and I use this for the first time to rest straighten my hair. And I really enjoyed it. It was very quick and I didn’t need to use a comb which made straightening so much easier. I heat it up really quickly which I was quite surprised and it actually gave me an option between 400° or more. It’s really great and convenient if you want to retouch your hair and I really enjoyed it.

I noticed my hair does not fall out anymore as it used to when straightening it, which is a huge plus for me. I do not have a lot of hair so the brush straights a good portion of it at once, so not sure how well it would work for someone who has a lot of hair. I also liked that we can adjust the temperature, having 3 different settings and the material of it, is very good. In addition, it is not heavy at all, so without doubt, something you can bring with for a trip. As mentioned, I really liked this product; the only problem I had with it, was that sometimes it would not straighten the “hair roots” because of the shape of it but again, overall very great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Remington straightening brush with gloss has three heating settings which is useful to control the temperature. It's the same size as a hair straightener or curling iron. The bristles on the paddle are spread out wide which is good for people who have curly hair and it can glide through. Even though there is a power button and a temperature button to select the temperature desired while passing through your hair your fingers can easily slip and change the temperature causing damage to the hair if not caught early. Box states that you don't need to pass the brush through your hair more than once I didn't find that to be the case.

The temperature control is to your liking so no worries of fried hair. Very easy to use as it’s a large brush . Cleaning wasn’t a hassle as i used a cloth to clean .

Kept my hair silky as well. I would definitely say this product would work even better with a straighter hair type.

The temperature wasn't too hot, I used it in the second setting, and it straightened my hair and left it smooth and shiny! Usually when I blow dry my hair, it's all frizzy, this Remington Gloss tool didn't do that to my hair, and it's so easy to use!

If you have thicker curlier hair, it may not be for you as it doesn’t have the ability to firmly straighten out the stubborn curlier pieces.

It’s a much larger brush than others I’ve tried, which makes it so much quicker to do your whole head. After just one pass, there was a huge difference in how soft and how shiny my hair was.
