Q: Why do you advertise your all of your free and clear products as such when they all have a scent? In addition to skin sensitives I have asthma & scents(especially from cleaning items) really bother me

A: I have COPD and asthma and also have the hardest time finding affordable scent free for the dishwasher. I use Finish Quantum and that has helped me and they work great.

Q: It says dye-free (liquid top), but colorant is one of the first ingredients- there is dye in the powder part!! This is misleading and greenwashing! When will a completely dye-free option be available?

I’ve used these pods a handful of times and it is hit or miss whether water residue is left on the glasses. The smell is fresh though and I do love the convenience of the pods! I also love how there are no harmful chemicals in the cascade free & clear pods. It is reassuring to know stuff I’m eating or drinking from is both clean and safe.

I would have been wrong. Cascade Free & Clear ActionPacs got the job done beautifully! I even ran a cycle without the addition of a rinse aid and got the same results. My dishes came out clean and shiny! As an added bonus, I like that I can just toss the pack into the dishwasher without opening it first.

The Pros: - Truly Free of Dyes & Perfumes (on dishes): Dishes come out scent-free – great for sensitive skin/allergies. - Generally Effective Cleaning: Handles everyday dried food, coffee, and light grease well on plates/utensils. - Pod Convenience: Pre-measured, no mess, dissolves fully. - Subtle Lemon (Loading Only): A faint, clean citrus hint only when you put the pod in. The Cons: - 'Lemon Essence' Undermines 'Free & Clear': Why add scent to a scent-free product? It's only noticeable when loading – feels contradictory. - Failed Unrinsed Glasses Test: Dirty glasses placed directly in did not get completely clean. - Plastic Pod: Dissolving PVA film (single-use plastic). - Cost: More expensive per load than powder/gel. Worth the purchase? You need dye/perfume-free detergent and pod convenience and don’t mind a barely-there lemon scent only when loading the dishwasher. It’s fresh without being overpowering. The packaging is super convenient too, especially when I need to take a few with me on trips or store them easily. What really won me over is how clean and clear my dishes look after every wash—no spots, no film, just sparkling results. They are so easy to use, and I like that the entire pac dissolves. The packaging also makes it super easy to take on the go. I was able to bring these to an Airbnb and I love the results. These pacs are packed with Dawn for grease fighting without bleach or dyes. They clean stuck on food easily leaving nothing behind besides a lemon scent. They clean visible & invisible residue for a healthy clean. Simply scrap, load, add the actionpac and done. Definitely better at cleaning grease from all the dishes, pots & pans. This new & improved formula is perfect for our household! Thanks Cascade!

We got a plastic resealable pouch that came with 19 pods, which is a convenient trial size. The lack of harmful preservatives makes you feel better about running the dishwasher.
