Just screw the tops on carefully.
I had a huge problem with leaking early on but since I always refrigerate pumped milk and warm it up before each feed, the moisture from heating helps seal it properly. I think the glass on silicone combo grips when dry and creates a gap for milk to leak through. 5 months of use so far and no cracking or issues otherwise.

feeding take 4x as long with these
We bought these for our formula-fed newborn after leaving the hospital, and were confused that he seemed to be eating less all of a sudden. Eventually after some testing of these and other bottles, we realized that the "natural response nipples", which only release formula when the baby sucks and release zero under any other circumstances, slow down the rate at which the baby feeds by a massive amount-- for us it takes 4x or even 5x as long for the baby to drink the same amount of formula using these nipples vs other nipples. Maybe for some babies that would be a good thing, if you have unlimited time. In our case, the baby drinking 60ml of formula with these took over and hour, which meant the formula was expired before it was finished. The quality of the bottles and lids is very good, though it does seem like the markings on the outside of the bottles are already showing wear despite only having been hand-washed, and only a handful of times.

Leak so easily all over the baby, not shatterproof and have gotten a defective bottle in the pack twice where it won’t screw on properly.

I’ve been using Dr. Brown bottles and they constantly leak so I needed to find new bottles. I decided to give these a shot and I love them. They don’t leak and they actually helped me get my baby to latch

Failure to Thrive; poor nipple flow
We received these as a baby shower gift and loved them at first. However, after our babies last wellness visit we will no longer be using them or recommending them. She is at the 2nd percentile in weight, and after trying the nipples our selves it's no wonder! Even as a grown man I had difficulty sucking water through( yes the hole is aligned), and it explains why she would take so long to finish a bottle (30+ minutes for 3oz). The size and quality of the glass is nice but the nipple ruins it

Failure to thrive due to extremely hard nipple flow
I will never repurchase this brand specifically because of the nipples! I love the glass bottle but the nipples are incredibly hard to suck out of. As I'm sure you've heard this particular nipple (0-2 flow) even flow 3 has had a lot of parents correlating the nipple with their baby failing to thrive. It would take my baby about 30 minutes to finish 3 ounces and it never occured to me that it was abnormal and to check the nipple flow. When I tell you trying to get any flow out of all three nipple flows was close to impossible I was fuming that I hadn't checked it sooner! I realized that my baby probably wasn't eating enough or wanted to eat because it was SO HARD FOR HER TO GET MILK FROM THE NIPPLE! She was exhausted! I would 100% steer clear from this brand and their nipples from my personal experience.

Horrible
I HATE, HATE, HATE these bottles. The lids are horribly designed - bulky, impossible to unscrew, dont screw on properly, and leak. We use the Dr. Brown wide-neck glass bottles. Not perfect either, but by far better.

I bought these to use with my pump to help minimize using plastics with my newborn. They have a built in anti-colic vent system that makes assembling a breeze. I used these bottles with my first baby 9 years ago we had no issues, I will be using them again.

I used these bottles 9 years ago with my first and I am using them again with my second baby. They are great if you want to minimize using plastic with your baby.

Great bottles
These bottles are not recommended by speech therapists, but they are the only bottles my son will use and we absolutely love them. These bottles are incredibly easy to clean, put together, and we are more comfortable feeding our child from a glass bottle. I would recommend sizing up the nipple flow, our son couldn’t get anything out of the flow 2 that is included.

Great bottles but take your time with the lids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottles are great. Only issue is with the lids. Sometimes they don't screw in right. Think they cross thread and then the entire lid comes off and spills the entire bottle. So be careful putting the lids on.

Cracking after 4 months
Some of the rings leak and I have had like 6 bottles start to crack and I almost never put bottles in the fridge or put boiling water straight into the bottles.

Can't beleive there isnt a system
II am trying to I am am og I am going to post basically the same thing everywhere I can. It is beyond ridiculous that when buying a baby shower gift, to be delivered to the expectant parents, a major store chain (and my first cc - obtained in St Paul, 1975!) doesnt have a method / set up for shower, wedding, really any gift, delivered to another party,- but esp. registry gifts. I included a warranty. I even called customer service- no help, no idea. I have to figure out how to get that over to them. Or they have to go thru god know how many hoops so if there is a problem,. I don't have to deal with? And it continues... I have been informed that items have been delivered.... huh ..I don't see them....asked how the delivery was ... GUESS WHAT -I HAVE NO IDEA. Meanwhile, I have to get my cell phone to get a code to get into the site to fill these out. BTW The feedback connection doesnt work. And lastly, your privacy policy. There must have been some law passed recently, every company, or game, has one, and most are very new.. Some, from good companies, almost immediately, or at least very obviously, offer a place to decline non-essential cookies/selling information, which is what 90% customers want. And then others, like Target, have pages of legalese and then an email to correspond to the privacy office. All makes me jealous of CA, as they are more protected by state law.

They work or they don't
Love the bottles that worked, however, 1 of the 3 in the pack was just ever-so-slightly deformed in the glass at the very top edge of the bottle. We used one bottle and it was fantastic then filled up the next one to have nearly the entire bottle of breastmilk (sobbing) on our lap. It doesn’t just drip it, it fully runs out in seconds. We tried the third bottle and it was great. Have used the other two bottles a couple of times and they still work great. We are returning, though, since $10 is a lot to pay for a bottle that we can’t use. I prefer glass over plastic, but will replace with plastic to avoid spilling any more milk.

Does NOT Leak if Done Correctly
We love these bottles and nipples. But, we had to get a faster flow than the one provided (Level 2). My wife thought this kept leaking, untile I noticed that she wasn't pulling the nipple all the way through the top. It has never leaked when I used it, and I love that the nipple doesn't drip milk unless the baby is sucking on it. I suspect a lot of the reviews about leaks are because they are not putting the nipple piece on correctly. It should be completely flush on top. The glass bottles make them very easy to clean.
