    Works well.

    Seems to work well! Very quiet and the simplicity of the indicator light is nice. I havent owned another brand, so I dont have a great basis to go off of. The unit won't connect to the wifi and I've tried troubleshooting it plenty. Not a huge deal for me, but it might be for somebody else.

    Winix Replacement OEM Charcoal filter disappoints

    Bought the Winix 5510 over a year ago. The original charcoal filter that came with the unit worked very well. It lasted almost a year. I decided to try more affordable after-market version (lower cost) and eventually decided to go back to the OEM filters. Now I see Winix has adopted the low cost/low quality charcoal filter as their OEM filter! Poor decision!

    Winix in my home.

    The Winix I have works wonderful. We keep it in the bedroom and run it most of the day and night. Easy to use. Easy to change filters. Considering another one for my den no problems with the product or the seller.

    Stinky dog smell gone

    Finally a filter I smell is working. 2 dogs, one big sheddy boy and a little frito factory. We leave them in the living room during the day and when we come home especially from long trip, the smell smacks you in the nose. I haven’t gone on a trip but I can tell the smell has improved dramatically versus our dyson and rabbit air filters which I don’t feel like work for the smell.

    LOVE 5510

    I purchased the 5510 model because I had been coughing a lot recently. After some research, I chose this brand and model as it seemed the best fit for my needs. I had never owned an air purifier before, but I’m so glad I gave it a try. Within the first half hour, I noticed a huge improvement in the air quality, and my coughing is now practically gone. I can breathe so much easier! The unit is compact, very quiet, and I keep it on the automatic setting. I will definitely stick with this brand and highly recommend it.

    Awful model, makes rattling noise, avoid

    Bought two, both making noise. One a few days after opening and the other a few weeks later. This was an issue with old models, but after years. This model is junk!!!!

    Working well!

    I purchased this about one month ago. Purchased to help with the allergens in my home. Two dogs, 3 humans in an approximate 1220 square ft home. Carpeted primarily. After reading the specs on this, my sq ft would get one new cycle of air per hour. These HEPA filters recommend 3-5 cycles of air per hour. So I’d need more filters for the full sq ft to reach those recommended cycles. However, I’m upping my HVAC filters to a MERV 11 and pairing the filter with it is helping a lot. The app to control the filter is easy to use and fun to look at your air quality. It’s relatively quiet. I’m pleased.

    I love it!

    After doing tons of research on Air Purifiers I became aware that Winix was one of the top companies in the industry. I bought the 5510 model and have loved it, I love that I can control it from my phone, create schedules for the unit, Plasmawave can be turned off, having that option is definitely a plus, setting up and connecting to Wifi was a breeze, cleaning it is very simple. Worth noting the highest fan speed is noticeably loud and think can be improved by the Winix team in a future model, however for me it's not a major issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.
