I think the Shaver is great. It's the best I have ever had. What lets it down is that there isn't any information with it and your website is absolute RUBBISH. I shall never buy another product from you until you rectify that. I'm very sorry about that because I like the shaver is very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light Guidance is a joke it takes only 1oz of pressure to change from green to orange!!! Seriously!! The new shave hard is sharp and pointed and grabs the skin and causes bleeding!!! My old 9000 the shave is round and does not have this problem!! The cleaning station method for the shaver does a terrible job and I have to clean my self manually!!!

Battery doesn’t last
Shaver has only been used for 3 shaves of total 6 minutes and the battery is flat. Spends more time on charge than doing shaves. Not like any other Phillips shaver I have owned.

What can I say about my Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver. Over my many years and many electric and wet shavers I have at long last found my perfect shaver in the Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra. It comes with a seven year guarantee which on its own is brilliant. The shave I can honestly say is the closest shave from an electric rechargeable that I have ever had. It is every bit as good a shave as any wet razor. The cleaning is as easy as opening the shaver head and cleaning under a running tap, shake off the head to remove most of the water, job done. Every now and again I just place the shaver on its cleaning pod, press the start button on the shaver and leave it for a short while to give it a proper clean. The shaver isn't the cheapest around but it by far the best around.

Totally hopeless. The battery life is non existent, the transport case is so large and heavy it’s unusable for travel. A poor product. Not a progressive step on previous generations.

If not disable the bluetooth function to reserve battery life. My main criticism is with the large surface area of the shaving heads that are not actual shaving areas, this makes it difficult to get to some areas such as under the nose or near ears. I'm not sure why the none shaving surface area needs to be so large other than just a styling design. I love the ability to track performance, usage and cleaning with the GroomTribe shaving app.

The Philips glides way nicer my face is 10 times smoother and I love the app Philips has for the ultra. Braun is just falling behind they need to change there whole design cus it doesn’t shave half as smooth.
