Batiste Original Powder Dry Shampoo – 1.06oz: For All Hair Types, Daily Use, Basic Cleansing, Scented

I really liked this dry shampoo, I thought it had way more product and was more effective than the spray one. It definitely made my hair look less greasy. If your hair isn't just white, I would recommend mixing a tiny bit of the brown Batiste dry shampoo with this to make it look more natural.

If you haven't tried it, but want your hair to look and feel cleaner then you need this. I like that sprays easily and doesn't spray too much on your hair like some brands can so you feel like you have more control over the application. I have dark hair and I've never had an issue with being able to see what looks like any powder on my hair. It goes on easily and you don't need a lot to get your hair just how you want. #ad

I was tired of aerosol dry shampoo bc seems so little, wasteful large container and spraying it seemed not good for inhaling. Plus $$ and not travel friendly (travel size is not even worth it). I gave this a try and really had to shake/hit trying to get some out like other users mentioned. I get you don't want to dump the powder but it was ridiculous. Soooo I used a metal stick the size of the hole (could use thin nail), lined it up and used mallet to hammer it through to the top. Now hole opened and I get more out easily. I'm careful on applying so it doesn't dump. If I travel with, I'll just put masking tape over hole prior to cap on to make sure doesn't spill. Problems solved and natural dry shampoo I like! Hope this helps others!

When I finally got it to open, hardly any product would come out. It really did not do too much for my hair. I would not recommend this dry shampoo.

There is a mild scent, which I don’t mind. My hair looks a lot less greasy then it did before and felt a lot cleaner. It didn’t leave any white residue behind on my hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a dry shampoo fan, so I was excited to try a dry shampoo powder. This powder is great at absorbing oils, sweat, or styling product overload. It did take a bit of effort to rub in the powder, but it did eventually blend in. I understand there's a brown shade version and I would like to try it. I like the light scent. I think a little product goes a long way so the bottle will last a good period of time.

Absolute garbage. The design is terrible and you can’t even get the product out of the bottle! I’ve tried so many different ways to get it out but no luck. I like the idea of the non-aerosol but the need to redesign the product. For now, will be returning.

I so wanted to love this as an eco-friendly alternative to the aerosol cans… But I literally couldn’t even get it to work! I could barely get any product to come out at all. I ended up throwing it out without even really using it :/

It has a light and clean scent and it is easy to apply. It did a decent job at refreshing my hair and soaking up grease. I will say, that the freshness doesn’t last through a long day, so I would recommend this for a quick touch up. I like that the packaging is easy to pack into a bag, and you can control the powder flow. I will be using this often!

Packaging is nearly impossible to open. Whoever designed this cap needs to be fired.

I smell is so strongly for HOURS after application - even if I just put a little bit. My partner even commented on the intense smell. It’s hard to dispense and hard to blend in since it only comes out very heavily in one small section, not easy to spread over a wide area. Would much rather use the aerosol. They need to remove the intense scent and rethink the packaging.

It smells okay, not good or bad, it’s not strong which I like. But I did have to use a lot of product to get that much oil absorbed. It does not leave any visible residue as long as you massage and brush it in properly. It volumizes and smells wonderful. I also like that its small and compact so I can take it on the go. The twist dial is a smart way to control how much product and to keep it contained. But it can be hard to get the powder out using that small hole in the twist dial.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a different form for dry shampoo, it was unexpected. I love that the containers holds so much product but in a much smaller container. It makes it easy to carry or go out with. The smell is clean and subtle. It’s also a pleasant feeling on the hair. It doesn’t give a crazy amount of volume on its own but I’m sure it would do more with a quick blow dry to help boost it. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling, sticky, nor stiff, not even tangled. The most unexpected part was actually the opening. It took me a minute to realize which way to turn the top. Mine actually closes in the direction of the arrows. The hole is pretty small but quite a bit of product comes out. I only wish the top portion was clear to see how much of the opening is usable. I twist it and can’t actually gauge how much product will come out. That aside this is great and I noticed after using it my hair don’t need much more the next day. Most times with spray on dry shampoo I need to reapply the next day. I tried to include photos but I’m not sure how well they upload on here.
