The Bose QC Ultra 2 headphones offer an impressive sound quality and exceptional noise cancellation, making them ideal for travel and daily use. Guests appreciate their lightweight design and comfort, allowing for extended wear without discomfort. However, some have noted concerns about the materials feeling less premium compared to previous models and issues with the controls being less intuitive. Overall, these headphones provide a great audio experience, especially for those who prioritize sound quality and noise isolation.

    Sleek design

I love the look of these. I have some sensory struggles and these are oh so comfortable and adjust to fit my very tiny noggin. The sound cancelling levels work just fine for me, but I will say the Bose ear buds are much more effective at canceling out background noise (they just hurt my ear canal). My reason for only 3 stars is because the price is absolutely bonkers! I had been gifted a little money so I splurged, but even with gift money, I sort of regret spending $500 on a headset that I Don’t use daily.

    Great noise reduction

Having used these headphones for the past two weeks I am very Impressed with the noise reduction and the comfortable feel when wearing them. It was a little tricky fitting the headphones into the carry case but after a few goes I seem to have mastered it.

    Improved Bluetooth Connectivity

I've had multiple types to Bose headphons and recently Upgraded to the Ultra Gen2, the Noise Cancelling and Audio quality are as amazing as you would expect. The real improvement is in the quality of the Bluetooth connectivity which in previous versions has been hugely problematic. In the Ultras this has been generally resolved and the Bluetooth now easily handle multi-connect and handoffs which has been a huge improvement.

    Quality sound and noise cancelling

Bought a couple of weeks ago and the sound quality is absolutely fantastic. My earbuds and 1st Gen headphones were very good but nothing compared to the 2nd Gen sound quality and noise cancelling.

    Good Sound Quality, Flimsy Materials.

Good sound quality. Comparing these to an older version, they felt like the materials were cheaper, the headphones were flimsier, and overall higher risk of breaking. Which, to me, kind of forces customers to feel like they "need" the extra warrantee to actually get their money's worth out of them. With this in mind, they're nowhere near worth as much as they cost on this website. If you can get a reliably refurbished pair for 60-70% of the price, I'd recommend that.

    The best headphones

The best headphones! I got these primarily for work - I wanted the best noise cancelling & these are IT! Love the long battery life & how comfortable they are (I can wear them all day with glasses). Plus, they don’t fall off if you’re wearing them while working out!

    Happy with these so far

When my over-ear headphones started glitching out, I knew I had to find another pair immediately. I jumped on the Sony XM6’s at first, but I quickly realized I didn’t like the design and that most of the new features are essentially useless in NYC (like the volume lowering when you’re speaking so you can hear during a conversation, but the mic picks up every little sound including the 8 million people around you, so my volume was constantly lowering when I wasn’t speaking to anyone.) I decided to switch to these and I’m VERY happy with the design and color choices and how the headphones sound overall. I love the immersion mode even though it does drain the battery pretty quickly in conjunction with noise cancellation. I do think the ANC is slightly better on the XM6’s, but I’m much happier with every feature overall on the QC2’s.

Love Bose but you guys took 2 steps backwards

Product quality and materials seem lower than previous QC models. From the volume and touch controls it seems lower cost decisions were. The controls are not as user friendly or intuitive as previous versions. There is a new noise (non verbal ) prompt that kept coming up switch meant it kept switching from one device to another but I couldn’t figure out why it kept beeping which made things confusing what was going on without a verbal prompt. Seems this product went a few steps back from what worked perfectly fine in previous model QCs or my 700s. Overall I think the materials feel subpar and shouldn’t mean a headset at this price point nor do they feel premium like my 700s did. The sound quality is excellent along with the noise canceling which is one of the main reasons I’ve continued to purchase Bose products but the materials quality on these new ones feels subpar/ cheap/ fragile .

Hi RG, thank you for your detailed feedback and for your continued loyalty to Bose, we truly appreciate it. We’re glad to hear that you’re still enjoying the sound quality and noise cancellation, as those are core to the experience we aim to deliver. We’re sorry to hear that the design, materials, and controls didn’t meet your expectations compared to your previous QuietComfort and 700 series headphones. We understand how important consistency and ease of use are, especially when you’ve had a great experience with earlier models. Regarding the non-verbal prompt and device switching, this may be related to multipoint Bluetooth connections. The headphones can automatically switch between connected devices, which may result in alert tones. Your feedback about preferring clearer or verbal prompts is valuable. These prompts are part of our latest upgrade by making our products simpler, faster, and more intuitive. We also appreciate your comments on the materials and overall feel. Feedback like yours is shared directly with our product teams, as it helps guide future improvements and design decisions. Daisy - Customer Support
