Lindt Excellence Mint Chocolate Cookie Bar - 3.5oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I must say that I am not a mint chocolate fan whatsoever, but I enjoyed this one! It has cookie bits in the chocolate bar which I feel make it taste a whole lot better. The mint is not too overpowering which is what I loved about it and the the dark chocolate had a very rich decadent flavor. It was not at all bitter and it did have some good amount of sweetness due to the cookie bits. As someone who isn’t particularly a fan of chocolate flavors like these, I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

It was snatched up immediately by me and my family and disappeared far too fast to document, which is usually the best endorsement. Lindt Excellence Dark Chocolate Mint is beautifully smooth with a silky melt and clean snap. The texture feels refined and polished, not waxy or grainy. Flavor wise, it hits a great balance. The dark chocolate stays rich and slightly bitter, while the mint is cool and refreshing without turning sugary or overwhelming. It is not too sweet, which makes it dangerously easy to keep reaching for another square. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes dark chocolate with a fresh twist. It feels indulgent without being heavy and clearly popular in my house for a reason.

There’s a nice crunch and chocolate consistency. Almost reminds me of a thin, crunchy peppermint patty.

This was actually a very nice mixture of textures - the soft and somewhat creamy texture of the dark chocolate and then the small crunchy cookie bits. When I first opened the packaging the mint smell was not too overwhelming, but upon a second sniff it hit me. The peppermint flavor is quite cooling actually, which adds to the textural element of the soft chocolate, crunchy cookie bits, and the cooling peppermint. It is a relatively strong mint flavor, but doesn’t taste like toothpaste. It somewhat tastes like an adult Thin Mint.

The crunch is immediately satisfying and doesn’t leaves a pleasant taste in your mouth after! Easy to wrap up back in its package when I want just a little treat.

It’s incredibly decadent with the perfect amount of mint flavor - I truly would compare it to a thin mint cookie - Absolute 10/10. This one reminded me of the Andes chocolate mints you get after dinner at restaurants. The chocolate is smooth and thin with mint and cookie crunch pieces that added another layer and texture to the already delicious flavor. I am not a fan of dark chocolate bc I find it to bitter, but with this it worked and was enjoyable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I lifted the paper from the top of the bar, I knew this was going to be good. A crisp snap of the bar, smooth chocolate melted instantly, the fresh taste of mint and finally a satisfying crunch. Delicious.
