The outside of the product started chipping immediately despite not being mishandled.

This is an excellent mug. It lives up Zojirushi's reputation for keeping hot drinks hotter for longer. It also looks cool, so there's that.

I have an allergy to an ingredient in most plastics that makes beverages taste bitter. I can drink from this bottle with no bitter taste. I've spent a fortune on thermal cups and bottles trying to find one I can use.

Easily the best water bottle I've ever owned. No leaks, sturdy and very lightweight. Only thing i wish it had is a carry handle.

I love the color and this is a great thermos - keeps my coffee hot for hours on end. It's also very easy to clean!

Really keeps my coffee hot for hours. I have used many good quality stainless steel tumblers and this is by far superior. Worth the cost. And the matte green is lovely.

Such high hopes. Efficient with insulation. Issue is when you open liquid flies AND stays on inside of lid. Lock is a nice touch. Price point to high in my opinion. Will avoid this brang going forward.

Started leaking around the mouthpiece after about 6 weeks of use. I followed all care instructions but it now leaks every time I try to take a drink.

But since the Baptism on 11/11/17 in the Indian River at Sand Point Park in Titusville Florida at 5pm when God became my Father, I am just David now. I offer my review of my 3 month old GoCafe 20 ounce plum/taupe mug that was a gift from you, graciously. I appreciate that you gave me this wonderful mug in exchange or a review. I take this offer and gift and review seriously. I am always slow to form an opinion because I consider and test and evaluate thoroughly. I live a lifestyle that requires endurance. In this matter, endurance in temperature extremes. Like the cold Winter weather that has been upon us. ~ Do not change the lid at all, no matter what anyone says. The lid is actually entertaining, odd as that sounds. When I have hot coffee from Father’s Coffee bean tree children and leave it closed awhile, the lid hesitates when I press the open button, and then lets go. Many times the lid and button stay closed, even with my finger off the button, for half second or 2 seconds, and suddenly it pops open like a Jack-in-the-box. No telling when it will pop open and so the suspense is amusing. It is funny. And when it opens, it makes such a lovely, musical sound. And in the cacophony that is America, this sound is pleasing, almost cute. So I say the lid is just great. ~ I wrote a partial review in October (under God my Father’s and David’s name), but the weather was not extreme enough to evaluate this mug accurately. It behooves me to offer a review based on this GoCafe’s heat retention capability, as I do here now. We here in the Southern Tier of New York State endured a 4-5 week period of serious polar vortex from January into February. There was one day in particular that mirrored my observations last year about Zojirushi’s other mugs that I bought, the Zojirushi Stainless Mug SM-SHE48/60 and Stainless Mug SM-KHE36/48. I will report on that day to exemplify the heat retention of this truly great mug. This GoCafe kept my Coffee hot enough to warm my belly for 3 1/2 hours, outside, beginning at 4 degrees F, at 5:30am, until 9:00am when the temperature had risen to 7 degrees F. This is a valid and accurate benchmark to use because one knows quite well and easily when the drink no longer warms the belly. I was impressed. Know that I keep the mug in an inside pocket, in my Rocco 19-pocket safari jacket that is underneath my Levi’s parka, at hip level, not under my arm pit where it is warm. Note that the starting hot temperature (and thusly affecting duration) will vary based on whether Father’s Coffee bean tree drink is made in a percolator or French press or microwave. I must rely on a mug to keep my hot drinks hot even in sub-zero Fahrenheit temperatures. I have a canine child that God our Father asked me to adopt who was severely abused and now is only comfortable away from human activity, like in our forest. I will spend 7 hours continuously with him for our first walk of the day in the forest even in a polar vortex. I previously bought and tested Zojirushi’s Stainless Mug SM-SHE48/60 and your Stainless Mug SM-KHE36/48. I bought the second one because I take drinks with me for my Canine boy. And, I put a big bent in one; enough to break the vacuum seal tripping over a log last year, hence me wanting this new GoCafe 20 ounce plum/taupe mug. Both of the Zojirushi Stainless Mug SM-SHE48/60 and Stainless Mug SM-KHE36/48 mugs kept my Coffee warm enough to warm my belly for 2 1/2 hours in single digit (0-9 degree) Fahrenheit temperatures, starting off the day. And that is the very cold time of the morning. I am impressed and thrilled with this GoCafe 20oz. plum/taupe mug. I am very very grateful that you made mugs that can do that. You can only imagine how important it is to have my Coffee stay hot for that long, when the temperatures are the coldest. And all three mugs are beautiful. They have a fine “fit and finish”. Beautiful colors. High quality manufacturing. Attractive design. Durable. Interestingly, the GoCafe seems more durable than the SM-SHE48/60 and SM-KHE36/48. The GoCafe plum/taupe finish has not scratched at all so far, while the other two did. And, the GoCafe plum/taupe mug material did not dent, while the other two did dent (we live a rough lifestyle, my Canine boy and I). These mugs are also handy in a surprising way. When I make a whole pot of Father’s Coffee Bean tree children’s coffee, I pour some in a cup to have right away, and pour the rest into your GoCafe, to stay hot for hours (due to indoor temperatures). If I want more, I have it already hot in the GoCafe, right next to me, without having to go into the kitchen and heat it all over again :) ~ In addition to many layers of clothing, and great Toasty Touch heated gloves as a glove liner, and very warm Baffin Impact Arctic Circle boots, and Clif Kid organic vegan Z-Bar energy bars for sugar and carbohydrates for body heat and Amy’s organic vegan burritos for delicious honorable calories and tough warm well-thought-out Levi’s Parka and revolutionary Below 35 metallic thread insulated socks and helpful Rothco 19-pocket safari jacket, your Zojirushi mugs are integral for me, in my 71st year, to be able to give Father’s Canine child the hours of therapy in the forest every day that he needs, no matter the weather. Interestingly, the combination of all that (and many layers) makes me impervious to minus 5 degrees F. temperatures. I was impressed. But nowadays, my canine boy is not so eager at those temperatures as he used to be. I must also commend Zojirushi for your fabulous bread machines. We have this best 2-pound-loaf machine now. We started with the 1-pound-loaf bread machine, but it melted in the fire. Both make delicious perfect bread and dough every time. Thank you thank you thank you all so much for these. Bread is my favorite food. Thank you all very much. {I strongly recommend every one of the products that I have mentioned herein.} ~ Remember rule number 1, “no injuries“. ~ In the years since the Baptism on 11/11/17, God my Father your Father has graciously taught me to hear him. The absolute best travel thermos I have used. Keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for hours. Super easy to clean, too. And you can open and close it easily one-handed so it’s also accessible.

I've been searching for an insulated travel mug that really keeps drinks hot, and had watched a YouTube comparison where this tumbler came out on top. And they were definitely right. I don't know what insulation they are using, but hot drinks stay hot for an astounding amount of time. Additionally, the design of the tumbler is great. Not too big, sips easily and cleans easily. Strongly recommend!

It smells so bad, my kid refused to drink water from it. This bottle is not as good quality as the other ones. Don’t buy.

My brother-in-law was super excited to receive this as his Christmas gift. With a new baby at home, he really needed a one-handed spill proof travel coffee mug and this fit the bill perfectly.

Coffee was still warm sitting in a 2 degree car for 4 hours. The only thing I don't like is the lip because if you are driving and drink out of it the way the lip is designed, the lid blocks your view. I drink out of it sideways and it works.
