Rubbermaid 5pc TakeAlongs 1.26 Cup Food Storage Containers - Red

Purchased these to use in my husband's lunch bag. They never leak, are durable, don't retain odors, and super convenient. I mainly use for all the sides for lunch, ketchup, wing sauce, ranch, that kind of stuff. Sometimes I like to.sneak in a little bowl of M&Ms as an added treat. I also use them in the car to take snacks for the grandkids, no more snack wrappers everywhere

These containers are easy to use. They are the perfect size for my son’s on the go breakfast. They have been easy to clean and leakproof. With a child using them, they have held strong.

First off it's made in the USA which is a big deal to our family. The size is just what I need and the price is good. I like that they stack so they take up less room in the pantry. I plan on using it for putting all the ingredients for a salad such as olives, mozzarella balls, pepperochini, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, carrots, etc. into it for my son and myself so all we have to do it open it up and put it on the lettuce. By making 5 of these types of containers for each of us, a salad for any night will be a snap. I still have Rubbermaid containers from 25+ years ago and I know that these are not made of the same material but the Take Alongs that I have which are a few years old are still working fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had a problem with these. They are easy to clean. They are strong and sealed tightly. I used these mostly for left overs and to take food. Bonus points for being able to stand/stack. They have measurement on the front as well.

Also for storage of little leftovers and they are perfect if I want to send food with a friend or family member.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these for a few weeks now. The containers themselves are not super thick plastic, which is why I gave only 4 stars. The plastic definitely feels a little on the cheap side. The size though is perfect for packing a lunch. They can hold about two cups of food, so just the right amount for soup or something similar. You can also freeze them and use them to re-heat food. I wouldn't say these are going to last forever, but I tend to re-buy my tupperware anyways after a little bit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mini deep square containers are easily manageable. Good portion control containers. Sturdy and stackable. Measuring units on side of container is a handy tool, especially when I am measuring out portions for dry and wet products.

Pros: has two measurements on the container, seems airtight, it's compact when stacking, and seems hard to crack. Cons: hard to open and may spill in consequence, and the lid seems pretty flimsy. I can definitely see elderly or disabled people not being open to take off the lid, so its ease of use is low.

I like how they have cup measurements on the side which is a helpful tool especially for dietary needs. I'm able to throw these in the freezer as well. I wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher too! I do however wish the lids would click together it would be easier to store and not lose any lids.

I recommend everyone to trust this brand it has never disappointed me. I just couldn't believe how much actually fits in these! Yay!!

It's just enough space to pack individual lunches, or dinners and they are super easy to store and dont take up much space at all. If you're looking for something that's small and spacious enough for a meal this is the right size for you!

I never have to worry about the lid coming off and spilling in my lunch bag. They clean very easily and the stackability of them make storage when not in use a breeze

They are the perfect size for side dishes and work lunches, they are also perfect for kid lunches. They are easy to open and close. They are also very easy to store with or without food in them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these little containers. I use them for meal prep for the week and they work great. The lids snap on so you know it’s secure. My food taste fresh as the day I put it in the container. It’s great for soups, fruit, Veggie bowls, etc. I create my own salad bowls and just add my dressing when I’m ready to enjoy my salad. My lettuce / spinach is just as fresh as the day I put it in my container. Also if you have to measure your meals, this is the container you want...on one side of the container shows 1/2 cup, 1 1/2 cups and on the other side the measurements are 100ml and 300ml. It’s perfect from meal prep to regular storage of food. Oh, it gets better...they’re top rack dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Win-Win

It's easy to store food in these minis to avoid using over sized containers. I also love keeping the tops together with the containers. I'm going to purchase more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rubbermaid TakeAlongs are the best quality container out there! I pack a lunch five days a week and I’m on a busy worksite. The containers are large enough to hold enough food but also perfect size to fit in my small cooler. The containers are very deep and can hold a lot of food. The lids fit securely. I’ve had no problem with leaking and I’ve been using these for weeks. The job site can be pretty tough and my lunchbox/cooler can get thrown around. These containers can stand up to it! I’m amazed the lids have stayed on as well as they have. Clean up is super easy and I have not had any problems with staining. My wife and I also like to make lunches for the week on Sunday. The containers can go right into the freezer with no worries. Rubbermaid is the way to go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just go my Rubbermaid TakeAlongs for stacking and storing light meals. Top-rack dishwasher-friendly (although I hand-wash all my storage containers), freezer safe, and microwave ready (reheat only), I use the TakeAlongs for soup, fruits, veggies, salads, and pretty much anything that equates to about a little over two cups. Lids lock in place well and create a solid seal. Why four stars then? Again, the TakeAlongs are light-duty. One filled with strawberries cracked after being dropped on a hard surface. Treat them well, knowing their intended purpose and how to care for them, and they'll treat you well in return. Give them a try. I don't think you'll soon regret the purchase.
