It lathers nicely so you don’t need to use a lot and leaves the skin feeling hydrated after rinsing- no residue. My 8 year old son liked the scent so much he started using it for his showers and baths so it’s even gentle enough for him. I would absolutely purchase this again as I feel that it’s much higher quality than other similarly priced products of its kind. I love that the scent stays in your hair and body as I also used it as body wash. When using it to wash my hair I did feel like it was very drying and stripped my hair of all oils. It felt very drying after washing though very clean. I normally use a hydrating conditioner so was not a huge problem. Not sure if I would re-purchase. If it did not completely strip my hair, I would consider using it again. Though after about a week I did feel like my hair needed extra hydration. I had to use leave in conditioner and other hydrating products so that was a downside. The scent is perfect as it is musty scent but not overpowering. My husband and I both really loved the scent.
